| Friend Me Up . . .Most of my life for the last 16 weeks has revolved around a game, Ultimate Frisbee. Next weekend is the culmination of all the trainings, fitness/trackwork and lead-up tournaments since the beginning of the year at the Australian Ultimate Championships at Queens Park in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
The team I'm part of, Southside, has a real shot at going for the title, so if you have any time at all on the 23rd to 25th April 2006, please come down and at least have a look. Tuesday the 25th will most worthwhile with the Finals on that day.
And if you have no idea what Ultimate is, come anyway. I've included a couple of pics below highlighting the basic gist of the game. It'd be great to see you there.

| So, my first day is Paris is almost over. And I'm hell buggered.
I didn't sleep at all on the 23-24 hour flight on the plane, except for some sketchy half-hour nod offs during viewings of CSI re-runs. Then being all amped up for Paris, I forced myself to walk around the whole western side of the side with gay abandon, to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. I decided to actually ascend them when I return to Paris later on. I also ended up walking up and down the Champs Elysees just in the hope that I would find a store that I hadn't seen on the previous walk-by.
Now, my feet hurt and only a shower stopped me from nodding off outrageously early.
I wish I could upload some photos. None have me in them yet, so that's proabably lucky for you.
Another a totally different note, I don't know what to have for dinner. I going heaps stinge for the first half of the trip. | | |
| Passing through Singapore airport. It's quite nice. I just walked half-way down the second terminal when the gate for my flight was changed. Hooray!
My flight for Paris is boarding soon, so I'd better go.
If you're reading this, I may keep dropping lines like this, throughout my journey.
Hope all's well. | | |
