Not having facebook has it's cons but I enjoy some pros.

Maybe I went the wrong way about it but I do see that not using it at all has not at all helped my academically. I filled it with some other time waster like video games and just doing nothing.

Though I sacrificed being connected to friends, it seems as if life continues without it. I can survive without it but being connected with friends is important. Since Facebook emerged as a power giant and more like a monopoly since you can blog, write notes, write on walls, post pictures, you can do practically anything.

Anyway,

I will think about going back and use it for different reasons. I want to stay connected to my friends and not to those of who I attend school with, since I see them anyway. It's for the purpose of being connected to those of whom I do not see as often. I guess I will get a consensus to see if it's approved to go back.

I miss posting on this,

but there are less readers so well

here's to talking to myself xD

Responsibility

I remember what I really wanted to write about.

Responsibility. People who don't have it are despicable. I really do not like it. At times I may not be but in certain cases I try my best to be. One prime example people lack responsibility in is going to church. Showing up late is annoying and really hurts me. I have seen it a lot but I shurgged it off. But when it comes to a point when a leader is late, then that's different. They need a slapping.

Well at times it's not their fault. They are probably given a ride.

If you are giving rides, take into consideration the TIME it takes to pick everyone up, stoppage time of waiting for them. Call them prior to arriving the destination of the pick up and tell them to come down, so both parties meet and can leave right away. People who come down after arriving is a waste of time. Why can't both parties meet at the same time. This helps scheduling and prevent tardiness.

If given a ride, follow the above and go down when the driver tells you to, go down even if the driver is late. It's better that the ride-ee waits than the driver waiting. Prepare everything in advance so that you are ready for that trip.

Time has to be taken into consideration. Maybe I think too much but I take in time into consideration when giving rides. Sometimes it does not go the way I planned but I live with it.

People need to take time into consideration especially for inclement weather. Weather is unpredictable and anything can happen. In the winter seasons, prepare at least an 45 minutes before to warm the car up and fully clean the vehicle. Cleaning should take at least 20 minutes. Then count in the time it takes to arrive at the pick up spot.

I forgot the rest since I'm sick

Sick

One thing that bothers me is people not taking care of themselves when sick. It really irritates me and I hope someday the world will take care of themselves when they are sick.

Examples such as coughing into your hand. People do it since they did it since they were young kids. It helps spread the germs and infect other people. This irritates me the most and I guess I am sort of a germafob. I try not using public sites such as computers at the school libraries, but I have no choice. I bring purell and try to minimize myself from being infected.

Then there are people who don't cover their mouths. They just sneeze and cough into the air and having the air polluted with the bacteria/virus in the air, waiting for other people to infect.

I can go on and on but there just won't be any point to it.

Sometimes we trust God for things. Using Him as a genie/Santa Claus everyday expecting Him to give us stuff. When in actuality we are the ones that are suppose to be giving to Him. Trusting Him in things not for things is important. Having faith in Him.

It is about time I wrote in this.

Someone is always watching. As technology strengthens, the more our privacy weakens. Careful actions are taken into consideration. Besides technology ruining our privacy, actions taken are watched. Everyone is surrounded by a careful eye somewhere. Someone is always watching perhaps even behind closed doors. What happens outside or in instances where we think "it's okay" no one will see me, someone is watching. Everyone is watching with the thought of who you are and why you are doing certain things. We all have a routine or a reputation to hold up. Gangsters have to hold up a gangster reputation and not be seen volunteering at a local hospital. A religious figure should not be seen in a drug ring. These reputations that have to be held up constricts a person's life and allows a window to bounce out of that bubble that person is placed in.

The older have to support the young. That is what everyone believes. The older generation is looked up to by the younger generation. The younger generation learns from the older. Mistakes are made and the younger ones redo these mistakes that the older ones take. Careful actions are necessary in lifestyles. Lifestyles are what people see and believe in who we are. It's what we do that defines who we are in front of those around us. Even behind closed doors, important things can happen but eyes all around are watching. Behind those actions, should be real reasons for doing those thoughtful things.

Christians are the Christ that everyone should see; Seeing God's love through His children's lives. Maintaining that lifestyle is difficult and puts a great amount of pressure on Christians. That pressure restricts a person's life and prohibits them from being parts of society and "not having a life"

Christians complain about "not having a life" but the moment you become a Christian, you are giving up your life to God. So that complaint is garbage and hurts God. If you do complain that Christianity is having no life then the heart is not there. No one is perfect, but God is there saying "Good try, try again". A bone is stronger after growing from being broken. In comparison, we should be stronger when falling and being stronger. Like it's said "all things are possible through Him". We can post these quotes on our profiles( aim, facebook, myspace" but truly believe in Him to pull through in situations. Anything is possible through Him.

Under the careful eye of society around us, Christians live their lives as if no one is watching. Reaching out to non-Christians, their own lifestyle is important. Evangelizing through their lives is one of the strongest testimonies to give. A life of sacrifice and a relationship with God can show how it's like to be a Christian. Maintaining strength through difficult situations and maintaining faith in Him.

Society says that Christians are hypocrites, and. Christians defend themselves and are offended. Some are guilty and some are innocent of being hypocrites. There is only one life for Christians and that is in the light. The moment you walk into it you are never out of it. The moment you walk out of the church you do not live another life. It continues on.

God is the audience that we serve and let's let Him be pleased with our lives. What may be harmless is harmful to Him.

It's been awhile since I wrote in here. It's because I keep a separate private journal elsewhere.  (privacy reasons)

I guess social platforms have got out of hand. With Facebook's emergence has a top social platform, there is a race to the top. The competition is fierce with Facebook's addition of third-party applications. Does facebook and the other platforms really connect people. I wouldn't really know but I do think it helps up to a certain point. Since facebook is now somewhat of a "stalking" social platform where one can see their friend's daily activities, privacy no longer can exist and social lives are exposed.

I have not tried other ones except myspace where it was just for fun and to connect with friends. I did not fully utilize my myspace or facebook since it was a waste of time for me. It does in fact help connect people in a way far beyond our imaginations. there was friendster but facebook has surpassed it beyond expectations.

there is really no point in this entry
