I Know It's Been A While...

I know it's been a good while since I've written on here, but it's been a banger of a first semester half....let's see, I started the semester with issues from one of the lovely offices in Student Development over some organizational stuff, I resigned from several organizations, Spike Lee came to my school, etc, etc.

Now, I'm on Spring Break, recovering from the above, mostly the stuff in the etc, etc part. Now I feel somewhat energized and ready to return to Kelly, SLU, Kelly (lol), and preparing for the summer and the new academic year. I'm very excited, but also having to work on a presentation I'm doing at a conference in three weeks, so I've got to get cracking on that too. I've also missed writing on this thing...when I first got it two years ago, it was just great; I'd get on everyday and write of my daily adventures...then Facebook came along, lol. I need to devote more time to it, because I still find it very useful, especially when addressing past situations that may arise in this ever fast-paced life of mine.

Leave comments and love!!!

Long Time...

Once again, it has been such a long time since I've been on  Xanga to write, but now I'm here. We're almost to midterms, so I'm slowly beginning  to freak out  about tests and papers, but I think I'm going to be super hardcore this weekend when it comes to getting work done, which will be awesome. Things with BSA and SGA are busy as ever, and now that I have a  committee to oversee, I'm really trying to do well with that and delegating tasks efficiently . Now, I'm sitting outside a professor 's office in the law school, trying to figure out what I am going to be doing this weekend. Any ideas?

This week has been pretty good. I absolutely LOVE my kids this summer, not just the ones I'm teaching, but especially the little 1st-3rd graders. They're so adorable!!! But as this is the last summer that I will be staying at home more than likely, I better enjoy while it lasts. I've also been trying to hash out what I'd like to do as chair of the Founders' Ball alongside the fantastic Sam Howard, provided she actually tells me she's still in with it. Finally finished my constitutional review for BSA, and now I'm doing for the local Historical Commission, so my mind is absolutely reeling!!!! Don't quite know what to do with myself sometimes. Now, I'm just waiting to count down the days until my e-board retreat, and then....my triumphant return to SLU...lol....I mean, not so triumphant, given current circumstances. Anyways, comment ppl!!! It's been forever. Talk ta me!! lol

Fancy Meetin' You Here....

I have just got to stop these huge gaps between entries. Anyways, summer has been....errr...okay so far I'll say. I'm teaching again for the summer, as well as doing work for BSA and SGA and getting involved in community pursuits, so most of my time is being taken up pretty nicely, and I'm really enjoying that. I'm going back to Saint Louis later on, perhaps mid-July, for my BSA exec board retreat, and I'm sooooo stoked about getting back and seeing everyone. It'll be much better when I'm back to stay in August.

In other news, my family.......... that's all I can say. I was screamed at this morning, the morning before that, and the morning before that one too.....I'm just getting so sick and tired of all the crap I'm being put through, apparently to prove a point to me that no matter where I am, I'll never being the captain of my own life.......it bites....

Wow oh Wow

It has definitely been a very long time since I have been on Xanga....the things that have happened in my life since February are things that I can't even begin to express. I lost the SGA election the first time around, and then the opportunity arose to run for a senate seat representing the BSA, which I won at the end of last month. I'm very excited about that. Now I'm just starting to get ready for the summer and going home, where I'll be working somewhere, though I'm not sure exactly where yet, visiting family and friends, and visiting Grandmummy's gravesite for the first time since last year. That's definitely going to be hard for me. I'm really pissed that I have to leave Saint Louis, but no worries, for I will be in this fair city several times this summer for several different reasons, from SGA to MLB, so I'm super excited about that. Apart from all this, I have finals out the butt, so I should finish getting ready for those, but tomorrow I'm going to write my heart out!!! Night all!!
