so, back by popular demand...the update
not much to say accept that there is only 22 days left of school.
boohoos
since i cant fit my big butt into the white with black polka dots number i had for prom last year (thanks a lot benjamin and elmo) my mother and i found a cherry red strapless instead. not as cute but what can you do.
the past few weeks have been a test of endurance i think.
i havent read any of that silly book we'er supposed to be reading for english. last week mrs. williamson announced to all of her classes that she would be moving to Olathe Northwest next year to be closer to her family...kind of a big blow, very sad. im just grateful that i had her all four years. asking people to prom and such. having to deal with major assholes (who shall remain nameless), etc.
oh well all of these things i believe are character builders. maybe
on another unrelated topic:
regional solo and ensemble is this week and emporia...my last, man im excited. spring pops, graduation and the banquet are the only other choir related things left on my schedule now. wow, time really flies.
laura...let me know when spotlight is so i can come!
and now for my metaphor for the week...
the last few weeks of senior year is like a cross-country road trip with one friend that you love and have a lot of fun with and one friend who you hate and really serves no purpose at all. the car ride can be both a lot of fun or really long and really tedious, with a lot of "when the hell are we going to get there???" when you finally reach your destination, it is a relief, but then again, it is also very sad.
so savor every moment of your car ride and flash a few old ladies on the way to make the trip worth wild.
peace
