| Great day in Michigan! This past weekend I traveled to Michigan to speak at a Word of Life Sports Marathon. Friday evening I spoke to adults and Saturday I spoke to teens. Jim Lefever and his team did a great job putting the event on. Between 40 and 50 people made professions of faith during the event. I am not sure how you feel but for me there is nothing more fun than giving the Gospel to students and watching them respond. It is cool to watch the mean, tough dudes in the crowd humble themselves and come to Christ. The Gospel is the BOMB! Paul's language says it differently "It is the Power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believeth"

| Bad Xanga MemberIt has been a while since I updated my blog. I am now on the Xanga bad list. I plan to be much more faithful from now on. Now that I have confessed let me tell you what God has been doing. In the midst of some great challenges, God has brought about some of the greatest blessing we have ever expierienced in ministry. Not to sound to Sunday Schoolish but I have learned that God is faithful, God's Word is rich, Dependence on God brings peace, and God's glory is his goal. We are looking forward to our next two evangelistic events. We have an Olympian Fun Day this Saturday then an event called March Madness on March 3. Our prayer is that every lost person that attends these events will be saved. Please be in prayer.
Here are some pictures of the family. I had to throw them in! | | |
| Merry Christmas I hope you had a great day with your family and friends celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ today. Laurie, I, and the kids are in California for the Holidays. Christmas morning has taken on a whole new dynamic with a 5 and 2 year old. It is a blast to watch the excitement in Austin and Juleah's eyes as they open each gift with great anticipation. After we finished opening our gifts this morning we went outside and played in the snow. A friend of Laurie's went up to the mountains and filled two pickup trucks with snow for us. He dumped it out on the front lawn this morning. So we kinda had a white Christmas. Overall we had a fun day. As I was reading my Quiet Time tonight I was challenged with one thought. We have a choice to Live with Jesus forever in a new heaven and earth or die with Satan in Hell forever. What a contrast. The bottom line for me is I need to be telling others about the great hope I have and warning them of the great destruction that awaits them without Christ. The choice is theirs.
Will you commit to actively share Christ this year?
