1. Claire talked me into getting a facebook; that's where a lot of the NSA people are. Feel free to look me up and add me there too. But I'll continue to be active on xanga, perhaps using the word "active" loosely.

2. Two huge cans of escargot fell into my hands and I cooked some tonight. Ever wanted to know what canned snails smell like? Breakfast sausage. But in alfredo, they just taste like alfredo. They're like mushrooms for people who don't like mushrooms. Except my mom, who now does not like either.

3. If I mess with an entry after I post it, do you get a double email if you're subscribed to my xanga? I try to make my OCD as less annoying as possible. I will try to prove that by not editing this and correcting that last bit. Oops, I'm editing anyway. Bad llama.

Escargot is something I have never yet had the courage or opportunity to try. Is? Are?

I don't a subscription digest, so I can't answer your question. However, since Xanga sends the emails out in the middle of the night so as to include all the previous day's posts, I theorize that the final version of your post is the one that gets distributed. Unless you choose "Update Time Stamp," which indicates that you're made a significant enough change to warrant a second read.

Well, she has three albums: Be Not Nobody (source of the hit "A thousand Miles"), Harmonium (a bit of a flop, but I like it), and the recent Heroes & Thieves (which is just plain awesome.) Each one has a bit of a different feel to it. How's about I send you a few songs?

What I've noticed is that the first version of a post gets sent out to subscribers, but if I edit it, the changed versions don't. But if I come back and edit another day, after I've done other posts, it gets sent out all over again.

Hi, btw. I hear you'll be one of Claire's roommates!
