| Belated updateSo.... I am currently in Edmonton, working at the Edmonton Sun as the summer photojournalism intern, a position which runs until October. Pretty cool stuff!
This means that I have graduated college, and left Belleville. Also exciting.

Oh, by the way, there is some other exciting news... I got engaged in Uganda, while I was there in May... And there will be a wedding in December!! :)
Since this is a travel blog, I should comment that Dubai and London on the way back from Uganda were nice.

| UpdateOnly six more classes and the semester is over!!!
It has flown by incredibly fast, and much is going on in life.
Over the semester I've been to Toronto numerous times, up to Frontenac County (proposed uranium mine is creating protests) too many times to count, down to a place called Hawkesville near Kitchener-Waterloo for a week, was back in Edmonton for about a week getting my wisdom teeth removed at the end of September...
And in 14 days I'll be back in Edmonton. For two days. Yup, you heard me. I'll be down in Vernon for Christmas!!!!
And as alluded in my previous post, I'll be going back to Uganda next year!

| learning, year twoAhhhh, nothing beats rolling down the highway with a Honda loaded till the tires are rolling deep in the wheel wells at 3 in the morning heading toward Belleville. Where? Oh yes, the tiny dot on the map 200km's east of Toronto. (where?) Perhaps known by most people that travel the highway on their way to Ottawa or worse, Montreal, as the place that has the truck stop with the good food.
Alas, I am back in this beautiful ville for my last year of studies in Photojournalism. It'll be grand!
And as quickly as it starts, I will be back in Edmonton for a week and a half at the end of September thanks to a wicked Westjet sale.
And not to get ahead of myself, but rumour has it I'll be back in Uganda next year...
I'll leave ya'll with a picture or two. (which reminds me.. who still reads xangas?)

| Still in HamiltonWell,
I'm still in Hamilton for the next few weeks. And then my internship is over. Done. What a great summer it has been!
The job here at the Hamilton Spectator has taken me all through Hamilton and area many times over... I've been down to Niagara Falls a few times and even to Fort Erie for stories. Next weekend they are flying me to Wainwright, AB to document Hamilton soldiers training for Afghanistan. Pretty cool stuff!
Oh, I also took the train to Quebec City, QC on my only free weekend thus far this summer a few weeks back to spend some time with Natalie. Lots of fun, QC is a beautiful place!

| Back and movedBack from Uganda for 3 days now.
Two days ago I moved from Belleville to Hamilton. I start work here in Hamilton at the Hamilton Spectator on Wednesday as the summer photojournalism intern.
