Get Real!

Blessings to you all!

You know...
God is in control.
God loves you.
God wants to do wonderful things in your life.
And He will, if you let Him!

I am just so thrilled to have Him as my friend.  He is my source of life and I just want to publically praise Him today.
Father, you deserve ALL praise, glory and honor!  You are my Rest.  I rest easy in You.

Well, that was for free. (*laugh out loud)   I just wanted to take a moment and share what was bubbling up in my spirit just then.  Today we have some new messages online for you to listen to, and Nicole put together something for you below, that God gave to her recently.

The two new messages online are Best Talents & The Plan of Evangelism.
I'll say that The Plan of Evangelism is probably not what you think it is and Best Talents goes to the Word for insight into what our ability and responsibility is, as Christians.
You can find all the messages at http://audio.xanga.com/wrightministry  Enjoy them!

I know you'll also really enjoy Nicole's "Get Real!" below.  I did.

Be BLESSED in JESUS name!
Bryan

Get Real!

Bryan and I have a friend (whaat!?!  A friend?  No way!).   For real!!  Okay, anyway!
Bryan and I really do have a friend.  We’ll call him Harry.  (real original huh Harry?!)  Anyone who knows Harry knows that Harry is a trip.  He’s one of those guys who, what you see is what you get.  It doesn’t matter who you are, he is what he is.  He’s got that sarcastic wit and a back pocket full of stories that when combined, will have you rolling all afternoon.  And yet, despite his sarcasm, he has a respect for people that manifests in the life he lives.  He is charismatic yet laid back.  He just draws people to him.  Why?!  Because he is Harry.  People appreciate his genuineness.  They don’t have to worry about weeding through the façade and figuring out what he is really trying to say or what his motives are.  He’s already told you.
Well that’s great Nicole.  You have a friend.  He’s great.  I’m happy for you.  So what’s your point?  Well, I’m glad you asked.

My point is that people appreciate a genuine personality.  We love people who are themselves around us & don’t act one way with us but are completely different with someone else.  God is no different.  Harry is often telling us something that God told him or a conversation they’ve had and even sometimes, he’ll tell us how God will laugh at him when he says something stupid to God.  Now unruffle your religious feathers.  He does speak to us through His Holy Spirit.  God does have a personality.  He does laugh.  How do I know?  Well, because He tells us in His word.  Genesis 1:26 says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”.  This tells us that we can look in the mirror and see a part of God.  We can listen to ourselves and hear part of His personality.  He is All in all!  There is nothing good that we have that didn’t come from Him.  That includes a good personality.

So back to Harry.  I was thinking about him this morning and about his relationship with God.  And I was thinking about this revival going on in Florida and how so many lives are being touched.  Then I asked God, why is it that Harry, those people at the revival and some of us find it easier to get close to You, while others seem to struggle to know who You really are.  That is when He told me that all it takes is for us to “Get Real”!  We have to stop thinking that God is so heavenly that He is untouchable by earthlings.  One thing that separates God from other man-made gods, is that He is obtainable.  We can reach out to Him and He IS there waiting to take us in His arms, just like any good daddy would do.  He WANTS to have a relationship with us.  He wants to talk to us.  The problem is that we often think He doesn’t speak English.  We think that we have to pray in some King James-like language or all holy and reverent.  Well think of it this way:
If your child came to you and said, “Oh great parental, thou art great amongst humankind.  Mayest mine friends and I goest to the beckoning mall?”  You’d think they’d been sniffing the Elmer’s at school.
Or how about this prayer:
“Oh all governing parental figure, thou clutched thee to thy breast as a babe.  Whenest I hungered, thou fed me.  Whenest I thirsted, thou made kool-aid with thine own hands.  But now all knowing parent, if thou lovest me, willst thou help me whilst I doest thine homework?”   You’re response would probably be, “What?  Are you practicing for MacBeth or something?”
It sounds funny for our kids to do that.  Instead, we want our kids to talk to us, not to act like we are untouchable and hard.  We are their parents.  We comforted them as a baby & now is no different, we want to be there for them.  We want them to talk to us the way they talk to their friends.
I remember when I was growing up, my friends loved my mama.  They thought that I was the luckiest girl because my mama was so cool.  They couldn’t relate to the way she and I would just talk about anything.  Now don’t get me wrong, I think my mama is absolutely wonderful & I know that I am blessed to be her child.  However, my friends had great moms too.  The difference was that they separated themselves from their mothers.  They saw her as an authority figure and that was it.  A lot of them now, since they’ve grown up, have realized that she is so much more.  That is great for them now, but look at the time they wasted.  The years that their mothers longed for them to truly know her love for them and understand who she really is.  This is how God is.  He loves Harry beyond words.  He loves these people at the revival.  But He also adores YOU!  He just wants you to be real so that you can really get to know Him.

But Nicole, He’s God.  He’s Holy.  He doesn’t deal with life the way we do.  Beg your pardon?

He is the one, alone on the mountain facing temptation.  (Matthew 4:1-11)
He is a friend who mourns the death of a brother. (John 11:32-36)
He is the one hurting as the world has turned their back on Him.  (Gen. 6:5; Matt. 26:67)
He is the person betrayed by one of His closest friends.  (Luke 22:47)
He is the person who is looking for an easier path.  (Matthew 26:37-39)
He is someone who just wants to help others.  (See entire Bible)

God does understand you.  He became flesh and experienced life with all of it’s joys and all it’s sufferings, then He experienced an excruciating death.  He experienced pain, both emotional and physical, far greater than any of us will ever know.  Therefore, we cannot go through one thing in this life that He cannot relate to and guide us through.  We can go to Him with anything, speaking our own language, and just talk to Him about it.  Good or bad, He just wants you to talk to Him.  You don’t have to wait for death & hope that you have lived a life good enough to maybe meet Him one day.  You can know and talk to God today.  He will talk to you, grieve with you, laugh with you and even laugh at you!  God loves us enough, that even in our misunderstanding of Him, He will still reach out to us and bless us.  But if you want to have a complete relationship with Him, you have to Get Real!!

-Nicole

ENJOY!

This is a word that I received for someone, but I thought that it could be helpful to myself and you as well...

RUN the race.
Run the race that God has set before you.
You may stumble, you may fall,
you may speed up, you may slow down,
BUT DO NOT STOP.

Different speeds are always a part
of the pace of a race.
They shouldn't be discouraging.

Be strong and of good courage!
Know that God's prize is worth it!
His overflowing provision along the way
is exceedingly abundant and will prove
the goodness and love of the Father!

RUN the RACE!

God is up to some amazing things right now! Make sure to decide to be a part of it.

Blessings to you all,
Bryan

UPDATE!

Recently, Nicole and I have been EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY busy with our life being turned upside down:
-Nicole got a new job
-We felt led to sell our company
-We trained the new guy and sold the company
-I started a new company, TheMediaLeader.com
-God started moving me towards pastoring
-God called Nicole to minister
-Nicole got licensed to minister
-I got ordained

Now all of this is great stuff.  We are moving right along with what God is calling us to do and seeking daily to walk in His will.

Recently, we felt led to open up our home each night and invite people to come that needed to receive from the Lord.  We have been watching the revival in Florida and seeking God for about 5 weeks now.  We have had people healed and blessed mightily and God is moving! Hallelujah!!
You can check it out here:

If you need healing or the power of God in your life, or know someone who does, feel free to visit us or send us a prayer request.

We ask you guys to pray for us as we help minister and seek after God's will for the upcoming days.
We are currently seeking God on where/how he wants us to pastor, etc.

Thanks and we love you,
bryan

Those Things Which Cannot Be Shaken

"The foundation of the church is starting to shake.
The body of Christ is about to be shaken.

Unfertile soil is being sifted.  Only fertile soil will remain.
Purpose yourself to be fertile.

You are a temple, a living temple.
You are living stones, meant to grow together, and not to be dead.
It is to be LIFE.  Show LIFE.  Shine LIFE.
In your life, magnify the power of Jesus, His love and His grace.
A LIVING temple.  Be fertile.

Cast out all that is dead in you, personally & corporately.

The foundation is about to be shaken.
Don't be sifted.

Stone will crack as the anointing enters from heaven."

This word came to me before our Sunday service in October 2006.  At the time I had no idea what the word was about.  Since then, it has not only remained in my spirit, but God has kept it's fire burning in me and kept me in prayer over it.  Later, I knew in my spirit that this 'shaking' that had begun would change the world as we know it.  This would also change the body of Christ into a church that present times have not known before.  A mature church where people stop looking to MEN and look only to THE MAN, JESUS.

"The foundation of the church is starting to shake.  The body of Christ is about to be shaken." 1
Many of you have felt the 'shifting' that is going on.  Many of you have talked to or contacted me speaking of the major changes on the horizon that you sensed in the Spirit or that were already occurring in and around your lives.  Many of you have been wondering:
"WHAT IS THIS STIRRING I FEEL?!",
"Why does my life seem like it is turning upside down and inside out?",
"What is God doing?",
"WHAT IS GOING ON?".

God gave me this example:
Imagine the church as a car engine.  God is disassembling the engine, piece by piece, then putting it back together in a different configuration.  The new engine will be stronger, more efficient and produce more power.  The fuel to be used in this new engine is LOVE.  LOVE is the only fuel that will work in the new engine.  The old engine would run on an assortment of fuels, even dirty, unpurified ones.  LOVE is the only fuel that the new engine/church will run on.  This is THE CHURCH that is to fulfill the WILL and PURPOSE of God in this time.  We have the opportunity to LOVE God back and to be right in the middle of God's will and to produce for our King!  Hallelujah!!

"Unfertile soil is being sifted.  Only fertile soil will remain."
"Cast out all that is dead in you, personally & corporately."

That fertile soil is LOVE2.  Only LOVE will remain.  We must make sure that we remove anything from our lives that isn't founded in LOVE.  Anything that is not set on the foundation of LOVE is dead3 and will not stand.  These are the flesh pieces that need removing from us.  These chunks of selfish motivations in our lives cannot stand in this new era.  We must recognize that God did not place these areas in our lives, but it was us, paying homage to our flesh and worldly desires that allowed these things to be so firmly rooted into our being.  As this shift occurs, these worldly roots must be removed, so we can either tell our flesh "NO" and judge ourselves4, or leave God no choice but to remove them for us, so that we can remain relevant in the Kingdom.

The whole body of Christ is made up of ministers5.  If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, YOU are a minister of the gospel, everywhere you go.  In church, you are a minister.  In the grocery store, you are a minister.  At home, in the car, at work, at play, your life is a ministry of Jesus Christ.  If you are in the 5 fold ministry6, I am talking about you too.  We must not leave ministry inside church walls and just perform ministry on Sundays & Wednesdays.  We must make absolutely sure that EVERY action and thought is founded in LOVE and not founded in personal motivations.  We must weigh our motivations against the Word, NOT against other's level of righteousness.  Our LOVE walk or lack thereof, is not something that will be graded on a curve, according to others around us.  Corporately and personally, we need to examine every motivation, according to the Word, with extreme, GENUINE examination.  Quick thoughts of "Oh, I am fine." and a lack of genuine self-judgment will not pass unaffected through this shaking & shifting.

As far as the 5 fold ministry is concerned, don't be surprised if you see pastors and teachers, prophets, evangelists and apostles being removed and shifted to new places in the body.  This is going to happen.  For example, some true apostles will be removed from their incorrect placements as pastors and be placed into their true role.  Some pastors operating out of their office as evangelists and prophets will be moved into their true role, etc.  Some will be removed.  Some will just be moved.  Some will be new pieces engineered into new placements.  Some will be moved into positions that look lower than their present position.  The key to remember is that God is the builder7, building a church to fulfill His purpose and His will.  I imagine that many of you have already witnessed this occurring.

"Purpose yourself to be fertile."
"You are a temple, a living temple.  You are living stones, meant to grow together, and not to be dead8.  It is to be LIFE.  Show LIFE.  Shine LIFE.  In your life, magnify the power of Jesus, His love and His grace.  A LIVING temple.  Be fertile."

Many of you will join to the true calling that God has on your life.  The dreams He has given you will come into reality.  The gifts He built into you before time began will swell up in you and have to be released.  If you are born again, you are all high priests and kings of the Kingdom.  Most of all, you have THE KING's inheritance, you are HIS CHILDREN, His sons and daughters9.  The highest inheritance and gift, is God's LOVE10.  We are to share that LOVE with everyone, in every situation and at every moment in time.  We must purpose within ourselves to be the fertile soil of LOVE.  As our responsibility, we must choose to allow LOVE to be the fertilizer of our life; a perfect place for the perfect Seed, Jesus, to take root and produce fruit of Himself.  This is done in our daily activities.  We must not allow self-righteousness to make us hypocrites11 to the world, but to LOVE and share mercy and grace.  The LIFE and the MORTAR of this new church, this new body, is LOVE.  We are to be LOVE, to show LOVE, to shine LOVE.  Don't let your light be hidden from anyone12.  "In your life, magnify the power of Jesus, His LOVE and His grace."  It's time to finally make up our minds that we will allow God to persuade us in His doctrines. We will not be persuaded by denominations, grand-ma's wishes, your pastor or religion13.  When we open our minds and our spirits to God's will, the power of God will be there to transform the world around you!  Things will happen everywhere you go, not just in the church building!  It starts with YOUR decision.  If you really choose the fullness of God, you will see the full salvation of the Lord visit you and your area14!!
Do you let God consume you or do you let man's religion deceive you?

"The foundation is about to be shaken.  Don't be sifted."
The religious church as we have known it, is about to be abolished.  I would not be surprised if within the next 10-20 years, the majority of churches open today will have closed their doors.  I believe that God is in the process of shaking up His body so that only the church filled with LOVE will remain.  He has told us over and over again how important LOVE is15.  He has dealt with our hearts on it.  He has had it preached to us.  He has prophesied on it.  Now is the time to reap a harvest of the mature church; the mature sons of God; the LOVE matured children of God that are His body, that are His LIVING STONES8 hewn from the very quarry of His Love16, a living church hewn from THE Rock, His Son, Jesus Christ; a church that is the exact makeup of that ORIGINAL Rock, Who IS LOVE.  Every other, religious thing will be sifted.  Don't be sifted.  Make the choice for God only in your life17.

His Kingdom and His LOVE cannot be shaken1.  They will not be shaken!
They will stand the test of time and perform the tasks appointed to them.  God is giving us this word so that we will remove ourselves from the world and fleshly things before He has to.  But as we do this and come into line with His will, we will walk straight into victory!  The things in your life that seemed incomplete, the small annoying questions of doubt, the answers you have been looking for are answered in LOVE14!  God wants a mature church.  God wants a church mature in His things.  He is LOVE18.  Then He told us that LOVE is THE thing that all other gifts pivot on and draw their power from19.
Yet in the past the church has missed it.  How do we know?  Because LOVE never fails20.
The church hasn't shown LOVE to unborn children.
The church hasn't shown LOVE to morals in our country.
The church hasn't shown LOVE to our neighbor.

Praise God, the time to change that is here!  This is a world changing 'shift'!  This is a 'shaking' called for by God himself!  It is GOOD NEWS to the world.  God's time of GLORY is NOW! The Kingdom of God is upon US!  It's time for me and you21, as saints of God to walk in the fullness of LOVE, to walk in God, to walk in Jesus, to walk in the Spirit22.  It's time! It's TIME!!  IT'S TIME!!!

"Stone will crack as the anointing enters from heaven."
Honestly, I don't know clearly what this means yet.  If you know of something that this relates to now or in the future, please share.  I can't wait to hear it!

In His LOVE,
Bryan Wright

Sweet & Low isn't Equal, from Nicole

We have all started off our New Year.  A lot of us have already tried & failed our new year’s resolutions that we really weren’t sure we wanted to give up in the first place.  Well I’ve got one that is serious.  It’s a life changing resolution.  You ready?  Ok, here goes…

Give up the artificial sweeteners!

Now I’m not just talking about the little pink & blue packets at the restaurants, I’m talking about all the substitutes that we use to try to sweeten our life, when the only true satisfaction can be found in a closer walk with Christ.  This isn’t a message just for the lost, who are turning to drugs, sex, alcohol, etc.  This is for everyone.  We all do it in some way or another, be it the extreme like the drugs and alcohol, or just the “harmless” like food, shopping, internet, even working out.

My mother-in-law jokes that the only ones who use sweet & low are the overweight people.  We all laughed as she tore open her Sweet & Low and I opened up my Splenda.  However, there is some truth in that joke.  We look to these artificial sweeteners to give us the great taste of real sugar because we don’t want the work that comes along with real sugar.  Real sugar requires exercise so that it doesn’t stick to our hips.  What we fail to realize is that everything requires exercise.  The reason people are overweight is because they don’t have the proper combination of a healthy diet and exercise.  The same goes for Christians.  Instead of extra weight on the body, Christians often carry extra weight spiritually or emotionally.  So often, we lack the proper combination of a healthy diet of relationship with Him AND exercising our faith.  Instead we use cheap, ineffective substitutes to sweeten our life.  Are you ever satisfied with the artificial?  Rarely.  Most of the time you will see someone using those, you can find them later, hiding in the kitchen shoving down a cookie or having a late night bowl of ice cream when no one is looking.  We often hear of women who shop, shop, shop, but just still aren’t content.  Men who work out day and night bulking up, but they still don’t like what they see in the mirror.  As a result of this discontent, we often think it will go away if we just do more.  More shoes, you have to have one of every color.  More weights, because Joe’s arms are bigger than mine and he’s happy.  We keep spinning in circles like a hamster on a wheel.  You can run as fast as you can, but unless you are running towards Christ, you aren’t going anywhere.  He is the pure, natural sweetener of our life.  He is the One who makes life worth living.

Yeah it takes some work, but you know what, you are working harder to avoid Him than what you would be, if you just turned to Him.  Faith is natural.  Love is natural.  Being a child of God is natural.  All of these come naturally to you, like a baby rooting for his mother’s breast.  He knows there is nourishing milk and that he is supposed to drink it.  We are created to: “as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby” (KJV, 1 Peter 2:2)  Until we do that, we are going to keep searching in vain, for something to fill that void, something to add that sweetness to life that we so long for.  So I encourage you, as you begin 2008, drop the artificial and go for the real thing.  Chase after the sweetness of Jesus Christ and He will give you enough to fill all your days.

You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. (NASB, Psalm 16:11)

-Nicole
