| one last time...i went to see my friends yesterday for the very last time. it was on one hand a sweet moment, but on the other hand, i felt like we weren't making the most of it since they were all on their computers. but nonetheless, i saw several kids reading a book auntie mei gave them and i saw one boy, of which i would have never thought he'd read it, reading the new testament that someone had given him.
they're going to florida for 6 weeks where they will have a good performance job. i don't think i'll be able to see them after that. i hope God uses the boring time they have on the car to read these books. i'm praying that God will open their hearts, minds, and eyes to see His goodness in the pages of the books and in their lives.

this
is xuesheng. literally translates and "student," but he choose the
english name "will." probably one of the few i actually had several
good conversations with.

susan, wen ting (mary), me, hong wang (andy), and kelly.

this is timmy the tightrope walker. smart kid. he taught himself how to read chinese.

xu jun. he probably could beat you up in a second. hahaha jk
i'm still waiting on my last picture of all of us together. man, i'm going to miss them. i kinda envy auntie mei for being able to speak on deeper levels with them. sometimes they get frustrated with me b/c i don't understand some of the things they talk about. but oh well...that's what i'm going to taiwan for! hahaha please be praying for them... |

| cleaningwhen i was young, i moved quite frequently. to give people an idea of how much i moved, i went to 5 different elementary schools. that's not really to say that i've moved 5 times but rather i've probably moved from a house to an apartment back to a house about that many times.
well, when one has moved that often, things like poking holes in the walls and accumulating junk are things that taken with more caution b/c we have to be able to sell the house or return the apartment back to its original shape.
i've lived in plano, texas for the longest time compared to my other locations of residence, 12 years. within the past twelve years, we have managed to put a lot of holes in one particular wall of the kitchen and have enough junk to drive us nuts and probably have a successful garage sale.
another thing it does is that it makes you nostalgic. i've found things that once were at the forefront of my memory. my mother would be telling me stories and stuff.
which leads me to the fact that it also makes you ADD. b/c one memory triggers another memory, and that triggers another memory and soon you'll find yourself trying to find your favorite hair pin that's probably long gone.
oh well...i'd put up some pictures of the disaster at the wu home, but i don't think my mother would like it unless i accompanied it with some "after" pictures....but we're not done yet.
*sigh*...

| things are going crazy here in the wu household in dallas.
parents are going to seminary in san jose
i'm moving to taiwan
and we need to pack up the house in a matter of two months.
i've come to notice that we haven't started yet....this is not good. we've developed a lot of clutter within the past 12 years living here, and it's kind of overwhelming b/c i don't know where to start or how to go about cleaning out the house.
so, because of this anxiety, i find myself not doing anything because thinking about how to start makes my head spin.
God, i need discipline...*sigh

| update on my friendsi can't believe it's been two weeks since i've seen them!!! i'm glad i went to see them today. i drove with auntie mei and angelo all the way to kaufmann county. it's about a 1 hour drive with no traffic. 635 was especially nice to drive on =D
i learned some things about them that bothered me, but i don't know if i should put it on a public site being that it's semi-political.
but anyways, continue praying for them. they're doing well. the oldest girl cooked lunch for us, and it was yummy =D. the boys were out doing a show for someone else, so it was just us and the girls today, but it was fun nonetheless. they've developed a loving relationship with their host and his daughters.
auntie mei and i are trying to organize a trip to see them perform next week. they're performing
7 pm on March 28; 11:00 am, 1:30pm and 4:00 pm on March
29; and 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm and 6 pm on March 30 at the carrollton plaza arts center. personally, i can only make it to 1:30 show on saturday and the 6pm show on sunday. if you want to come with, comment with your preference for date and time, and we'll see if we can get a group together for a discount.
i pray with all my heart that they come to understand the awesome love that can only come through God and in return that they'd praise and worship Him as well.
