Sunday
1. meeting new people at a party last night

3. watching drunk people go crazy--it's rather funny to me

10. this awesome video of a lion giving his rescuer a mondo hug and a kiss at their first reunion

This video gave me a visual image of how our relationship with God might be. It reminded me of Aslan's (from Chronicles of Narnia) gentleness and love. He's the King and he's got the power to destroy us anytime he wants (seeing as how he is the maker of the universe), but when we call, he drops whatever he is doing and becomes so overwhelmed by his love for us. He envelops us in a hug and doesn't let go.

Wednesday

5. shopping at Walmart and finally finding a wind breaker for $7! whoo hoo!
6. that Walmart is open until 11pm
