Here are some things which will help when your willpower is very feeble, to ward off the urge to eat, or worse, binge!

    • Pinch your thigh and see how you don't need food, because you should be eating your own flesh all away from the inside first, before you are deserving of actual legitimate sustenance.

    • Go to the library. You can research dieting or whatever, or you can read the classics, or some of the aforementioned listerature. Or you can do homework, or write letters, but the beauty of it is, since no food or drink is allowed, you'll have no choice but to abstain from a meal.

    • Buy some baby teething gel and rub it on your tongue, to numb your tastebuds.

    • If you're even considering eating, just hold your breath and count to 100. Chances are that you'll convince youself not to eat whatever it is you're craving in that time.

    • The scent of coffee has been proven to lessen ones appetite.

    • Chew the food but don't swallow it. Spit it in the bin.

    • If you're feeling dangerous, plan out the next few hours so that you're occupied for every single minute. Write a list of things to do for every 15 minutes. eg. exercise, surf the internet, email your friends, clean a room, read a book.

    • If you're feeling brave enough to face the kitchen, go there and throw out any potential binge foods. If you must, pour bleach/disinfectant/dishwashing detergent on the food, and then throw it away! (Anorexics are known for retrieving food from bins, or stealing food from strange places).

    • Pinch your ear! Apply pressure to the front of the ear, one at a time. The front of the ear is apparently a pressure point, in the area that controls hunger.

    • Let perfume replace chocolate. Every time you have a craving, or pass a bakery, sniff some Chanel no. 5. Apply it to a tissue and carry it with you. Smell has a powerful effect on appetite.

    • Clean something. Cleaning something dirty can make you lose your appetite. The toilet, the litter box, under the kitchen sink, scrubbing out the garbage bin, anything grimy or smelly. The mess, along with the smell of the cleaner, can put you off food for a while.

    • Become a teenage artist. Write anorexic poetry, tragic little verses about bones and stomachs and evil evil capsicums. Anorexics are ever so creative. Collect pictures of skinny girls. Stick them all in your notebook. Draw pictures of painful bony girls with tear stained faces and their head in their hands (their spines sticking out). This will take up most of your time.\

Finding your Ana Triggers

TRIGGERS : GOOD AND BAD

Well there are alot of different kinds of triggers. Triggers can be good, when they trigger you to excersize or not eat. But triggers can be bad when they make you want to eat, or not excersize.

Some examples of good triggers to be around are : Pictures of your ultimate thinspiration. (Personally, mine are Adriana Lima and Jessica Alba, along with Sophia Bush.) Put these in your purse, allet, make it your screen saver on your cell phone (download a wallpaper or if u have a camera phone take a picture of a picture of her), Put a poster up on your wall. If its a bathing suit picture, and you dont want to seem like u have a crush on them, Put it somewhere no one should be looking. But i reccomend fully clothed girls for the anyone-can-look spots. If you really need thinspiration otherwise, Put all of them in a book, make it glittery, pretty, anything. When ur not busy work on it, and when you need thinpo to stay strong, look at it. The more the better since it will be taking up more time that, you could be eating. Another good trigger is REVERSE thinspo. A picture of a girl that has no bussiness in a bikini. Before and After photos of Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Mary Kate Olsen, Anna Nicole Smith (well for her it would be before, after, before, after, and now before. Yeah i dont reccomend this many pictures =P) And Britney spears, before and after,  When she had a great bod, and now a not so great one. Most of you girls, i would love to look like but,  you hate your weight (well oviously, bc u wouldnt be ana) so take a bad picture of you everywhere.
Frame it if its with a friend. And, This could also be used for the before and after thing. You would probaly want to be a before and after like nicole richie. So think of that...

And now Bad triggers. People that make you want to eat. People that tell u "just how good this one resturaunt" is. Maybe a food. Maybe a song. You have to be that one to decide. Okay, heres where you start. Everytime before you binge, talk to yourself. Why are you binging? is it food? is it the person around? A commercial? This will help you detect them, also you will probaly talk yourself out of binging. Its also good to make a list. If you have your "good trigger" thinpo book write it in there. Im going to use mine as an example.

My personal Triggers
Things that make me not want to eat:
 Seeing a Victoria Secret commercial
Looking at myself in my bikini
Image Googling Jessica Albas Body
Nasty pictures (-)

Things that make me want to eat:
  Looking at a resuraunt commercial
Chocolate / Starbucks
Oscar Mayer Weiner song.
Going in the Kitchen
Glazed Krispy Kreme Donuts.

5 Foods That Suppress Your Appetite

The cold and ugly truth about weight loss is that you will be hungry some of the time. While there are many tactics to reduce hunger--from avoiding refined carbohydrates to meal-timing strategies--the best may be finding food and beverages you can consume when you're feeling intense hunger pains that don't have a lot of calories, reports NewsTarget.com.

These 5 foods really do control your appetite and suppress cravings--without adding calories:

Water or broth
Green leafy vegetables, including lettuce, cabbage, and bokchoy
Homemade instant banana pudding
Pickles
Apples
The idea is that if you eat two cups of anything, your tummy will thank you by turning off those gnawing hunger pains. But if the two cups of food is cabbage instead of cashews--20 calories vs. 900 calories--you have succeeded in curbing your appetite without incurring a lot of calories, notes NewsTarget. That's the idea behind appetite control foods.

Appetite Control Food No. 1: Water or Broth
Fresh drinking water--from a tap or bottle--is a powerful appetite suppressant. NewsTarget says if you drink 8 oz. of water at the first sign of hunger and then wait 10 minutes, you'll almost always suppress your appetite. If water doesn't work for you, drink organic vegetable (or chicken) broth. Heat it up a quart at a time, and for only 20 calories you'll be full.

Appetite Control Food No. 2: Green Leafy Vegetables
Lettuce, cabbage, bokchoy, and other green leafy vegetables have so few calories that you don't even need to count them, but they will fill your tummy and turn off the hunger signals to your brain. Don't like to eat them plain? Add a low-calorie salad dressing (look for one that is 25 calories per tablespoon) and enjoy. Or, stir-fry the veggies in water. Add onions, garlic, and soy sauce for more flavor.

Appetite Control Food No. 3: Instant Banana Pudding
Don't look for this in the grocery store. You have to make it yourself. Purchase the ingredients from a health food store. Here's the recipe from NewsTarget.com:
Pour a quart of soy milk into a blender. Add two scoops of unsweetened banana-flavored simply natural spirutein soy protein powder. Add stevia powder as a sweetener. Blend. While the blender is running, add 1/2 tablespoon of guar gum powder and 1/2 tablespoon of xanthan gum powder, both of which are thickeners.

Appetite Control Food No. 4: Pickles
Buy natural pickles only, avoiding those with added sugars and artificial food coloring. An entire jar of pickles has only 50 calories.

Appetite Control Food No. 5: Apples
Apples do have a few calories and a few carbs, but they will fill you up for quite a while, which will stop you from eating more calorie-dense foods, notes NewsTarget. The bulky fiber of apples will fill you up before you overeat

Not alot but, hey its something.

40th subscriber gets to pick a post topic!!

todays topic is:
Avoiding food

Todays tips are on what to do instead of eating. They will keep your mind and body out of the kitchen and focused on your weight loss. I tried to find as much as i could. If anyone has any, feel free to comment me with them. okay...

1. Clean house! Get busy "hoeing and throwing," go through old stuff and purge out what you don't wear, don't want, don't need anymore. Dust. Vaccuum. Scrub. Keep busy! It engages the attention and keeps the thoughts off food. If you're a teen, your mom will be amazed and VERY grateful, so grateful she'll forget to nag you about food! If you're an adult, you'll thank yourself when you're done!

2. Keep sipping on that lemon-water, tea, or diet pepsi while you work! Keeps the tummy sated so it won't growl at ya.

3. Put on some music and dance! Or keep the tunes rolling while you clean house, it keeps the work from getting boring and you can boogie while you sweat!

4. Work on your new pro-ana website, Thinspiration journal, or update your online ana journal.

5. Network with other pro-anas through chat, email, messenger or club sites -- get some support and motivation from your sisters/brothers when you NEED it!

6. Put together a pro-ana scrapbook (or add some new things if you already have one) with lists of safe foods, low-cal, low-fat, low-carb recipes, word collages, and of course, TRIGGER PICS!!! This is also a Thinspo Journal. When your not reading it think of it. When your tempted, work on it. As a reward, buy things for it.

7. Surf the web and make a list of all the pro-ana sites you can find, or all the safe-food sites you can find, or all the places online where you can buy diet pills, shake mixes, etc. These lists are VERY handy for research and sharing with others!

8.Get up and active! do anything. Take 5 minutes to just jump around. Jump. Swing your arms. Better yet, do it with weights in your hands. move your legs! up, down, around, left, right, whatever!! just move around and try not to get dizzy.

9. Count to 100. Hold your breath. try to count to 1 from 100 backwards. This will take up some time.

10. CHUG IT!!! chug all of the water you can until you feel sick. It will help with your weight, And will more then likely curb your appitiete.

11. Call your friend and chat. Or your boyfriend better yet. Or make something for a loved one

12. Name someone you know going down the alpabet a. alicia, b. bonnie, c. Claire

13. Wait at least 20 minutes until you binge. You will see why...

14. Sit your self down. Write on a peice of paper a series of questions. Am i really hungry? or is the food just looking really good. Talk about your goals and how you want to see your future.

15. Plan out what your going to be doing every single minute for 2 hours. 1:30 walk my dog. 1:45 call my bff 2:00 take a shower 2:30 lift weights..... you get the idea.

Okay i really hope you liked that. love you and stay strong!
