how's everyone goin? u c..i haven't update 4 so long...T_T cuz im reli busy witz swimmin..im stuck witz ana da whole dai from mon-frin..lol .jk.jk..well..we hv 2 walk around da mall then go swimmin its not fair da ana moved up FOUR LEVERS but im still in lever 1 T_T

so sad...HAHA Luke got his xanga 2 now i can talk 2 him on xanga...

_____ Slam Dunk is a Japanese Anime created by Takehiko Inoue. The story mainly revolved around Sakuragi Hanamichi. In his three years in Junior High School, he was rejected by 50 girls and made the record of his school. Upon entering Shohoku High School, he was determined to win a girl's heart. On the first day, a girl name Haruko Akagi asked him the question that will determine the path of his life and the ongoing of the story:"Do you like basketball?" Wanting to please and to "know" her, he complied to join the basketball team. High School life begins.................

_____ On the first day of school (not sure is it first but close to it.) Sakuragi Hanamichi and his Gundam were in the campus. While Sakuragi was mourning over his 50 rejections in Middle School, his gundam was celebrating it, a record. Later in the school building, a girl name Akagi Haruko walked up to him. Assumming from his height, she asked him does he like basketball. To Sakuragi, she was such a lovely girl and determined to win her heart by answering yes and complied her request to join the Shohoku basketball team. Sakuragi felt that spring has arrived for him but his friend asked a question that make him worried again. "Don't you think that such a lovely girl like Haruko would have a lot of guys after her or she already have a boyfriend?" Upon hearing that he rushed out to search for the lady of his heart. As he approached her, his gundam hid behind a bush and, attempted to overhear their conversation. Haruko said that she had a crush on Rukawa Kaede because he was so good at basketball and looked so cool on the court. Again, he sank into depression, while his friends began celebrating his 51st rejection.

_____ Rukawa was both the ace and super rookie of the year. Sakuragi Hanamichi and Rukawa Kaede both joined the team and became the worst of enemies, both on court and in love path. His build and natural athletism caused the captain of the Judo club to invite Sakuragi to join. The Judo captain used many cute pictures of Haruko to lure him to sign the form. However, Sakuragi clearly rejected the idea by saying, "I wanted to play basketball!"

_____ Ayako is the manager of the team. The second year player Miyagi Ryota had a crush on her. On his return to school from hospitalizing, he was approached by the Mitsui Hisashi gang. As they were fighting and continuing their past conflicts, Miyagi was greeted with the sight of his beloved Ayako walking next to a tall copper-hair guy, Sakuragi. He became involved in the fight as Miyagi flying kicked him. It was the arrival of Haruko and the presence of Ayako stopped the nonsense, and Miyagi returned to the team. Miyagi and Sakuragi became good friends due to their similar fate in the path of love.

_____ One sunny afternoon, as the team began their practice, the Mitsui gang came in to pay their annoying visit. They began insulting the team and basketball. Rukawa was the first to step out, and confront them. But his head was injured due to a blow by the cleaning mop. Miyagi joined in as one of the gangster slapped his love, Ayako. Sakuragi was taken on by the strongest of the gang, a professional-like fighter. At this time, the vice captain of the team Kogure Kiminobu came out and revealed the story of Mitsui. It was the arrival of Anzai Sensei who caused Mitsui to speak out his heart, "I really wanted to play basketball." Thus Mitsui was reaccepted by the team.

_____ The Summer Preliminary Basketball Tournaments began. The captain, Akagi Takenori pushed everybody to the limits on practice. Sakuragi began calling him "gori(gorilla)" because of his look and punches. There was a scene that could only be seen in Shohoku. It was the stone-faced Rukawa communicating with Sakuragi through insults and flying punches. As the first round approached, Shohoku was faced up with Miuradui High. (Sorry, I can't describe the match in detail.) Sakuragi was foul out before the end of the first half. His last foul was by slam dunking on the head of the opposing team's captain, and knocking him out cold.(S:funny huh?)
The first match won by 114:51.
The second match won by 160:24
The third match won by 103:59
The fourth match won by 111:70
_____ The toughest tournament that will determine their seat to be in the semifinals just began with the match against Shoyo High. Fujima Kenji is the captain, coach, and the ace of the team. This team was the second best in Kanagawa, and they were all consisted of really tall players. Hanagata Toru is the vice captain and also the tallest player in the team. He was one of the 3 top center in kanagawa. (Sorry, I can't describe the match in detail.) Mitsui was truly the hero in this match. He shot in four three-pointers consecutively. Sakuragi fouled out again. However, his last foul was astounding, slam dunk through a three men defense and his force knocked one of them to the floor. That scene got on the main page of next day's newspaper. Sakuragi became the proclaimed "Rebound kIng". Shohoku won by 62:60 with Shoyo lost by 1 ball.

_____ For the first time in the history of Shohoku, their basketball team got into the semifinals. The semifinals consisted of four teams while only two of them could represent Kanagawa into the national summer IH. Their first match was against the king of Kanagawa, Kianan High, which had the history of being NO.1 in the city for 17 consecutive years. The captain, Maki Shinickiis the No.1 point guard and player in Kanagawa. The second year Jin Soichiro was well know for his graceful 3 pointers. As for the newcomer, Kiyota Nobunaga, he challenged Rukawa in competiting for the name "Super Rookie". He was nicknamed by Sakuragi with the name "Wild-Monkey". He returned the favor by calling Sakuragi "Red Monkey". [Kanagawa is full of monkeys. *chuckling*] Rukawa alone scored 25 out of 31 in the first half. As for Kianan's Maki, he was really something. Shohoku sent out 4 players (Rukawa, Akagi, Mitsui, Miyagi) to guard him. Sakuragi was left to guard Jin with his special sticky face tactic. Well, the match was really close, and they would have of won if weren't for Sakuragi's mispass. They lost by 1 ball. Shohoku lost by 88:90.(Thank you Joyce for clearifying the score. ^_^) As a result of his guilt, Sakuragi shaved his head and people began calling him the "Red Head Monk".

_____ (Sukina: I have to apologize here because I can't really describe basketball matches, so I'll just post the scores and briefly describe the members.

Shohoku:Takezato 120:81 Kianan:Ryonan 89:83Ryonan was led by Uozumi Jun and the so called basketball genius, Sendoh Akira. Uozumi is the main rival for Akagi in terms of competiting for the best center in Kanagawa. As for Sendoh, he is the figure that Rukawa is going to surpass and Sakuragi to challenge.

Shohoku:Ryonan 70:66Sakuragi became the "secret weapon" in this match. His last dunk crashed the hopes of Ryonan on their last chance to catch up. Sakuragi: "DEFENCE! Sendoh take your ball." (Sukina: Isn't he manly? ^o^)

_____ This is the first time in the history of Shohoku to actually get pass the semifinals and enter the IH. Their dream of conquering Japan is more neared. The IH tournament took place in Hiroshima. (I"m not sure though.) Their first opponent was the 2nd representative from Aiwa called Toyotama. Their stategy was mainly fast and violent (can't really find the word though) like a storm. Their Captain Minami Tsuyoshi had a nickname called "Ace Killer". In the match, Minami elbowed Rukawa's eye, intended to knock him out of the match. However, to everyone's surprise, and our delight, Rukawa returned to the court after his eye was patched. To add more amazement, he was able to get in the penalty shot with both of his eyes closed.(He remembered the feeling.) Shohoku won by 91:87.

_____ The second match was the moment they had all been waiting for, the match against last year's champion, Sannoh. Their ace, Eiji Sawakita is also the number one high school basketball player in Japan.

_____ Shohoku was under a lot pressure since they are facing off with the champion which all consisted of really tall players. All the spectators at the stadium were there to cheer on Sannoh. At the beginning of the practice, Sakuragi jumped from the penalty line and lay in a dunk which amazed all the people. However, he said it was just his greetings to Sannoh and the spectators. On Sannoh's side, Eiji was sent forth to return the greeting but to no avail, his ball touched the hoop and was reflected out and embarrassed himself and the team. All throughout the first half, the scores were really near. Almost all teams were present to watch this spectacular match. By the end of the first half, Shohoku led by 2 points. There's this player in Sannoh who was 210cm and 130kg. Sakuragi was sent to block him. To the amazement of all, the 189cm 80kg red head monk was able to block him and prevent him from receiving the ball. Through this "big and heavy" player, Sakuragi lay in many points and showed his potential.

_____ Since the beginning of the second half, the score of Shohoku was frozen. Sannoh scored 20 points consecutively. All the people, included other teams and the spectators believed that there's no hope and shohoku is going to lose. Sakuragi was taken out at this time by Coach Anzai to watch the game. He said if you can grab the rebound before the opponents get them, then we will have twice the chance of catching up. When Sakuragi returned to the court, the score was 26 points apart. All thought Shohoku had lost, including the shohoku players, except the red-head monk. He climbed up to the reporters' table and proclaimed that he will beat Sannoh. (It was so funny when Akagi punched Sakuragi's butt to get him off.) With unbeatable flexibility and athletism, Sakuragi managed to snatch all the rebounds and lifted the spirit of the team. Most of the points were by Mitsui. Even if the shot didn't go in, there is always Sakuragi under the hoop to tip the ball in. It was this trust for teammates that keep the tired-out Mitsui going. Ever since Sakuragi's return, they had abridged the gap to only 8 points. However, Eiji isn't the No.1 player for nothing, he was heated up. With his advance skills, the gap was again widened to 19 points. Rukawa was a self-centered guy and he never passed the ball, but at the presense of such a challenge like Eiji, he smiled with passion flaming in his icy blue eyes. Rukawa's unbelievable passes again shortened the gap to 8 points. Eiji's opponent was no longer Rukawa since Sakuragi managed to make him foul. Although the gap was smaller now, but the time was running out, they can't manage to foul out any now. As Miyagi's ball is deflected by the captain of Sannoh, all hope seem lost as Sakuragi flying jump to the edge and deflected the ball in before he crashed the reporters' table. To everyone's surprise, he isn't injure and can still jump and hop. The reactions of the audiences began to change, some actually began cheering for Shohoku. However, Sakuragi was not uninjured, he stretched his muscle in the back.(I think, not sure though) He was switched off. Rukawa's next 3 pointer shortened the gap to only 5 points. Sakuragi stands up and intends to return to the game since he was determined to win no matter what. With only 1:58 seconds left, every player is very tense. As Sakuragi blocked Sannoh's shot, the ball is passed from Miyagi to Mitsui for 3-point. As the ball left his hand, a Sannoh player crashed into Mitsui from a defense foul. As a result, Mitsui gain a penalty shot. The shot got in and they are ONLY 1 point behind.

_____ The croud wavers, who would believed a type C team would almost beat a type AA team. Would the history be changed? Once again the ball is deflected away by Sannoh toward the foul line, Sakuragi again came to the rescue as the ball is inflected to Rukawa's hand. However, he once again worsen his back injury. As Rukawa's shot goes in, now Shohoku lead by 1 point and the crowd began to cheer for Shohoku as all people wait for the change of history. However, Eiji isn't good for fun. As the timer shows that only 23 second left of the match, Eiji lead the attack. Rukawa jumped over to block, but Eiji wait till Rukawa's block to move over, that's when he release the ball. The swish of the net shatter many players' dream except for Sakuragi as he ran towards the opposite court. With only 9 second left on the timer, the ball is blocked to be pass to the opposite court and is still left in the hand of Akagi(I think). Rukawa came up as support and the ball is passed to him. With remarkable agility, he rapidly dribbles the ball across and break into the Sannoh's defense. However, all angles are deadly block as he sees Sakuragi standing at 45 degree.(the place where his jump shots goes in most often) With only 2 seconds left, he back passed the ball to Sakuragi. He demonstrated the most perfect jump shot. When the ball left his hand, the timer stopped. The winner of the match is left to be determine by the graceful flying ball. The crowd have forgot to breath as each watch with anticipation. The swish of the ball into the net resound around the court shattering many's heart. At the same time promoting the Shohoku team to the next level as all players jump up in happiness. Shohoku won with 79 to 78.

_____ Sakuragi did not join the team for the match against Aiwa because he was hospitalized. They lost since every player were weary out from yesterday's intense match against Sannoh.

_____ As they returned back to Shohoku, Kogure and Akagi left the team in preparation for the college entrance exam. Miyagi succeeded Akagi and became the captain of the team. Haruko became Ayako's assistant. Rukawa was invited to join the All Japan Youth Training Camp. Sakuragi is in rehabilitation.

Sakuragi, the basketball you love so much is waiting for you. Sakuragi: Because I am the tensai(genius)!
