Interests: I love to sing.....it's basically the only thing I'm remotely good at. I love listening to music that just takes me away and lets me forget about reality for a little while. I love taking the train to NYC and seeing a play or shopping or just to go to Central Park and lay in the grass for a little while. I looooovvvveee to travel....everywhere and anywhere, but I absolutely positively hate flying on planes (I don't know how I'm going to handle 18 some-odd hours on one to South Africa...It'll be worth it though...). My passport has one measily little stamp on it right now (from the Republic of Kiribati.....prize for anyone who can figure out where it is....) and in the next year and a half I have plans to add..let's see...7 more ...wow, I can't wait.

Last night I tried to make a really nice post with all these great pictures I took, but I was almost done when Xanga decided to tell me that I had a monthly upload limit and that I had reached it, so I couldn't upload any more pictures. Sooo I got mad, and in a fit of rage I deleted the entire post lol.  At some point I'll post some pictures from various events going on in my life. I got some especially good ones at the Coldplay concert, because Chris Martin came out into the audience, just about 15 feet away from me, which was pretty freakin' awesome.  I've been listening to his voice for I don't even know how long and to have him right THERE singing one of my favorite songs was just amazing.

In other news, I mailed my deposit on monday, so I'm officially going to Providence College.  I'm beyond excited, high school just needs to END.

The weather here has been absolutely superb the last couple of days, I feel guilty not being outside even for the couple minutes it's takig me to write this.  I've started my jogging routine again to whip myself into shape for summer, and I'm achey ad sore right now but I love it.  I hope you all are getting a chance to enjoy spring a little bit too.

I hope I'm not the only one who COMPLETELY forgot about daylight savings time today.  I woke up approximately 3.5 minutes before I needed to be at church, thinking I had an hour to get ready.  Luckily, I can be super fast at getting ready when I need to be, and the church is around the corner, so no worries.

Alright, that's all for now.  Love you guys.

I Write Sins Not Tragedies

Well, Les Miserables closed last night, it was awesome if I do say so myself, except for the part where I feared I would actually have to come through on my role of Fantine's understudy since the girl who plays her was very very sick on Friday, but no worries.  She was a trooper and sang her heart out despite being sick, good thing too because there's no way that I could have done as good of a job as her.  The show ending was also kind of sad, I'm really starting to feel the end of highschool coming.  Things are starting to come to an end and it's sad and exciting at the same time. Not that I have any great attachment to high school, I've pretty much hated it actually, but I'm going to terribly miss my friends that I've become accustomed to seeing every day.  Just three short months now until the last day of school and prom and graduation and I still don't feel like any of it's really going to happen.

And to add to the excitment of this very busy weekend, I'm going to see Coldplay tonight.  I can't wait to hear them live; I may just spontaneously combust on the spot.  Hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures from my show and from the coldplay concert at some point this week.

Love, Kristen

I'm so absolutely exhausted; my school musical opens this thursday and we're doing "Les Miserables." In other words the really really really really long and exhausting show that never ends.  I wish I had time to write about my life on here.  I wish I had time to have a life , but being busy is how I function best I guess.

My light at the end of the tunnel: I'm going to see Coldplay live on sunday, I'm soo excited, it's going to be AMAZING.

Alright, time for me to head off to work.  Just wanted to pop in and say "hey, I'm alive." so no worries.

How To Save A Life

This is the result of Kristen being extremely bored in the niddle of her mid-winter break.  Good news, I'm going down to the good ol' DMV tomorrow morning and changing my license from a junior to a senior.  WATCH OUT, I will officially be fully licensed.  Quite frightening, I know.  I'm still without a car though, so no worries.

And now, a survey. 'Cuz all the cool kids are doing it; I succumbed to the peer pressure.  It's not a particularly exciting survey, but it kept me occupied for about 12.5 minutes...good enough for me..
