So, I totally dyed my hair today. With the help of my lovely assistant, Jessye.
I totally love it. I haven't had black hair in.. wow. like... two years. haha. It's pretty great.
We didn't do my whole head though. For one thing, I need to trim the back of my head anyway, and three hair colors is always better! haha.

Yep.

In other news, I've ordered the following in the past few days:

Yeppers. Sadly, though it's ordered, I don't think I'm getting the new Thursday album until.. the 9th at least.. since Punk Goes '90s comes out may 9th.. and I think the whole order's shipping then.

My guitar lesson got cancelled today. I'm guessing that either KC couldn't find a sub or that... I don't even know. Anyway, he's out touring with his band. Which is totally awesome. I'm seeing them this sunday, actaully. Flipside '06. It's gonna kick ass. I just need to make sure I don't lose all my goodies again... Like last year. That sucked. I cried. I really did. :'( *sigh* Hopefully I'll be able to find someone I know and get them to hold my bags for a minute while I go into the pit.. or at least be able to get out to kev's car to stash stuff. That reminds me. I need to make sure to bring food to keep in kev's car. I don't want to spend money on extremely overpriced food and water. Maybe I'll go out and buy a dozen donuts. Energy food. Need energy for concerts. Oh. And sunscreen. I have to remember that. I don't really want to by burned like last year.. that was harsh.
Anyway, I'm home alone since my guitar was cancelled. So.. nobody here. I 'm doing laundry, since I need my thrice shirt to be clean for sunday.. I'm also walking around the house naked. Cause I can. Yep. Doing laundry in the nude. Then I think I'll go take a shower... In the nude. But that's how it's normally done.
I finally have my doctor's appointment this thursday. I'm totally due for some shots and a general check up... Wootcakes.
I think the doctor's a woman. Which.. Um.. Kinda weirds me out a little. I kinda liked my old doctor too... Since we changed practices or something.. No point in driving up to springfield every time one of us gets sick... Eh. Anyway, we'll see.

Work today was actaully pretty fun.
It was boring, as usual, until like.. 10 or something. Then my buddy Troy came. working outside is a lot more fun if you have someone to talk to. Talked about all sorts of nothing. Like.. videogames and music! Woo!
Donuts are only $.56 at giant. I found this out. And actaully, If I bought a dozen.. I can save a whole lot. and a dozen's only like.. $4.39 or something. pretty sweet. So I'm seriously thinking about buying a dozen or something and taking like.. two donuts to work every morning. hehe.

On the way back from work, my mom spotted a random sign for a yardsale. So, naturally, I swerved that way and checked it out. I didn't find too much. Only cds that were there was a ton of country, some Britney Spears, and a little Dave matthews band and third eye blind. I kind wish I had picked up the third eye blind. never listened to them before. Anyway, On to the highlight of the story: I bought a pair of leather pants. I know. Awesome. I wish they were tighter though. It's kinda sad. they're just pants. Not tight pants.

Yeah. so that's what I was doing. Most of the people in my youthgroup were over at the Gray's place doing yardwork for them. I think this is like.. the first one I've ever missed.
hah.. I don't care though. I was making money.
Money is important.

Flipside '06 is next sunday. I'm so looking forward to that. It's gonna be great.
They still don't have a finalised schedule out yet though. Which is a little distressing. I sorta would like to plan out my day. Sorta. Sometimes the schedule gets mixed up.

Bleh...
I felt like crap this morning so I called in sick for work. Okay, more then just feeling like crap. I had a really bad headache and a weird general over-all soreness.
I dunno.. maybe I should've gone and left after a bit.. that's what my mom was saying... Excuse me for not doing the thing you would've recommended... First time I've ever called in sick..
Eh. So.. yeah, other then that. Rain... It's been raining a lot. not enough really to matter. Just been sprinkling all day today and yesterday.
So now I"m going to be bored all today. Since I've nothing to do. Maybe John will call me. He called yesterday since he thought I did.. which was weird cause I checked the dialed calls thing I definitely didn't... but anyway I said that if he wanted to hang out or something today I'd be all for it... of course I didn't know I'd be all headachy, but who cares about that. that's why we've drugs... Either way today won't be as fun as yesterday. Went over to Jessye's house and watched Spaceballs. hehe.
I need to call Giant and get my schedule for the next week. They had better have not scheduled me for Sunday again. I ain't working no Sundays. Nuh uh.

I spent entirely too much time in the car today.
Most of it sleeping. Cause that's what I do. When I'm bored. In the car. Seriously. Helps the time pass a little faster. mmmhmm.
Anyway, besides sitting in the car reading IT and listening to music whilst waiting for my mom and brother..
We went to Saratoga Pizzeria for lunch. I haven't been there in a while. My family used to go there sometimes while we still lived up there... Didn't appreciate it a lot then... Nice place actually. It's a smallish family-owned place. Good gyros. But I didn't have one of those today. Got a cheese steak.
Maybe I should've gone with the gyro. But that's what I always get. Gyros and either french fries or onion rings. never the standard chips. I hate potato chips. Unless they're sour cream and onion. But even then, not my favorite snack-type food. Oh, and Iced tea. always the iced tea. No soda. Soda bad.
After that Erika and I had to run over to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner.. hamburgers. So we needed a tomato... buns... and.. some other unrelated crap. Like.. corn chips, tortillas and salsa. I think that's for Thursday.
Prior to my guitar teacher showing up for my lesson I had the opportunity to play a random fender jazz bass that happened to be in the room... Which was pretty fun. It was a nice bass. Not too had to play since I'm not used to basses. I so played that until KC got there. I guess it was 15 minutes or something.. I don't know how long.
As it turns out, KC's going to be touring with his band, 33 west, pretty much all of may, so I'll have a sub. which I don't actually mind at all. All the guys KC's had as subs are all pretty cool guys and I always learn something from them.
With KC's help, I learned to play mewithoutyou's song 'Gentlemen'. Which has totally got to be one of my all time favorite songs. It's just so good... *sniff* anyway.. now that I can play it there's one small problem. The vocals don't quite stay in a set rhythm. haha. So singing along is a little difficult.

Anyway, since my last update...
I got my first ever paycheck, all 40 dollars of it.
I watched the classic zombie flick 'Night of the living dead' with Jessye
I layed under the stars with someone I love.
I got new pants for work
I played poker
I went to work
Changed my xanga layout
Changed my myspace's backround

and.. that's all I can remember at the moment.
Anyway, I've got work at 7 tomorrow morning which means I need to get up at like... 6:30. oh well. more moooonay.

Finally got my direct deposit stuff set up. and it's about time. I was going to get it set up like.. Saturday last week but it turned out that my manager, Dan, couldn't come in to work since his car got stolen. And then the next day, Sunday I wound up coming in to work too since somebody called in sick and he wasn't there either. Though apparently there actually was someone there that could've set it up for me.. But I didn't know that until just yesterday... and I actually got it set up when I came in.
Then I did cart wrangling for about 6 hours. Which, as long as it's a nice day isn't all that bad at all. And there's the possiblity of getting tips. but most people aren't that cool. But there was this one woman who gave me $2 for helping her bring bags out to her car. Woo! And she wasn't ancient like the woman that gave me that 50 cent tip for bagging groceries. Lame.
Eh. yesterday was quite interesting. Being spring break... I didn't have my guitar lesson.. and Erika didn't have her singing lesson either.. but she didn't remember that and we went up to Springfield for no reason at all. Okay we did have a bit of a reason. We did go to Costco. Since we needed.. like.. milk and stuff.
Anyway, at some point in there my cell phone got turned off. Which is always annoying. But when I noticed it I was back home at like... 2:30 or something. And I had a message! Which turned out to be Dan. Wondering if I could possibly come in. So I did. At 4. I skipped my youth group's bible study thing they have Tuesday nights... But I didn't really care. It was boring anyway. And I don't normally say that about stuff like that. But it really was. I dunno.. The 'study' we were doing wasn't even really a bible study. More like some kind of moral training with using the bible to try and justify it. It was about leadership or something... It was weird.
Speaking of bible studies... I had been going to one prior to starting the youth group Tuesday night one... which my parents are still going to.. but anyway.. It's now been moved to Thursday night... which is Jessye and my usual evening for seeing each other...
Bleh.. so Annoying. So right now I'm trying to see about having her over today.. since no other day this week would work. Since tomorrow there's flock.. Friday I'm working in a shift that pretty much disallows doing anything, and Saturday I'm working too... I suppose Saturday is actually the only other day that would work. I'm getting off work at 4 then... But Jessye's going to be hanging out with a friend of hers then.

Well, I'm going to go do some driver's ed.. cause the sooner I get that finished, The more complicated my life will be. woooo. But at least then I won't have to worry about parents needing to give me rides and crap... and then I'll be able to go to shows that are an hour or two away! Yay! Not to mention actaully being able to go on real dates with Jessye.

I've got my first two days working coming up. This friday and saturday. 3-7 PM. If you live int the area, I'm working in the Giant on Dale blvd and Mapledale... So visit me. I don't expect to exactly be well... excited. Haha.

Other then that, my parents are still out of town, which means that I have to bike to work. Which I don't mind too much.. as long as it doesn't rain.

I opened a checking account at the bank today. I'm going to get a card for that... A.. checking card I guess it's called. As well as finding out I can make transfers between my savings and checking online. Which is nice. Since whenever I try and have my parents move my money it takes forever. So now the only aspect of my money I will not have control over will be my USAA card thingy.
I think what I'm going to do is have my HUGE paycheck direct deposited into my savings, and then I can transfer however much I need into my checking account for spending and whatnot. So yep. Goodie!
In other, but still slightly related news, I got a lock for my bike. Don't want some random mexican going and stealing it when I'm working. That would make me sad, and since it's possible that I might actaully start working this next week, I kinda need my bike. Really need the bike.
I'm also going in to Giant saturday afternoon for orientation or some such.

Okay, being the slight music nerd that I am, I pick up band names here and there... but seldom really check them out. But Saosin... is pretty great. If any of you guys are into post-hardcore, check em out. They don't have any full length cds out yet, but they've been around for a while. Since 2002 at least. I'm guessing since they're actaully signed now that they're putting something out this year... I think. Anyway, I'll be buying it.

And on the subject of new albums...
