Rushing to computer class in a pajama bed hair faced frenzy.

Didn't make it to Senior. Junior at my homeschool was kick butt. :)

| who'daeverthoughtSo I get these corny jokes sent to my phone every afternoon. And zomg they are so corny.... but after a long day and when you've been to crazy serious classes and just need a laugh... and the phone does a special beep and I get to read 'How do prisoners in jail talk to each other? With their cellphones!'...... it's great lighthearted relief. :) I feel so corny because I end up telling the joke to someone by the end of the day and they just look at me...really... weird. Haha.
On a more serious note... I finally picked a home church in Ruston.... Christ Community Church. I really like the calm intimate atmosphere there. It feels thick and real. Meaty is a word I would use to describe it... but I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else at all. :) And although it is a lot lot lot different than my roots..... I feel like I am learning something totally different about God in the process. All my life I have 'looked down' on churches that didn't have I guess what you would call 'intense' worship services. I don't even know how to explain it and I feel that I am horribly lacking in words. I don't mean to downtalk any other churches at ALL because people are called to different places at different times for different spiritual needs. This church feels like it is teaching me respect and reverence and after a crazy week... to go and sit down and soak in God's presence and learn feels so... great... so different to me. At first I was really skeptical about it because it's so different but after a LOT of thought and prayer... I feel like that's where I need to be for this time in my life. Like God is teaching me on a whole different plain. Teaching me to take a moment...breathe... and appreciate God in a totally different way. So wow... I went a lot deeper into that than I expected.. but cool!
And also....... have you ever been happy to do a squat? I like my workouts but I HATE HATE HATE HATE Squats. (No wonder my poor upper legs aren't really toned :( ) I started this new workout series called 'Turbo Jam'. I have never tried a tape exercise.. but since I like to workout at like 5 in the morning and the gym isn't open that early and it's dark outside... this is a good option. The lower body tape is killer. But it's great because all the exercises hurt worse than squats so when you get to a squat you almost want to shout for freakin joy. But it's fun! I never would have thought I would be in love with squats though.... the irony of life... ha!
So now I have to pull an all nighter and study for a chemistry test... I might as well stick a caffeine IV in my veins...... :-p.
