wow... the last entry i wrote was at the beginning of the year and junior year is almost over. boy, have things changed... have i changed... anyway..

just got back from japan.  i'm glad to be home. even though i have some issues that still need avoiding as some people know. like school for example.

japan was fun i guess... other than those miserable days when i was sick.. or my knee was killing me.
i learned that:

  • tokyo tower is 333 meters high which is like.. 1,000 something feet
  • the two main religions in japan are buddhism and shintoism (forgive my spelling)
  • kyoto is a really old city with lots of temples (buddhism) and shrines (shintoism)
  • japan's capital would change each time they had a new emperor
  • shogun were dictators
  • nara was the first permanent capital, then kyoto?, then tokyo? which was known as edo back then
  • osaka has a really big aquarium. with big fishes, giant spider crabs, a moon fish, and a whale shark
  • japan had healthy food... i had fast food once.
  • the atomic bomb was dropped 1,900 feet? above hiroshima to create the most impact on the ground
  • tokyo disneyland can be fun even when it's raining and SUPER windy... if you aren't sick that is.
  • and i learned a lot more.. but i just can't recall anything right now.

yeah.. so japan was pretty educational and interesting. peoples' true personalities showed on this trip and i wouldn't trade my friends for anything. broken hearts mend and sickness USUALLY heals... over time. time is all i need.

and for those of you who didn't know... i dislocated my knee a week before the trip. and my ankle was swollen the day we came back because of too much walking and the plane ride. heather was right.. your joints DO swell on plane rides..

well, i thought that was a pretty long entry.. haha.. pretty boring too. well, if i remember or need to add anything.. i'll edit... seee you in a year or so or maybe in the summer... haha.

you think you know someone and then.... BAM! they're gone... just when you think it's getting better.

boredom and depression are a completely horrible combination.

so. how was YOUR day?

just another beautiful day...

yesterday we had our joint concert with kaimuki middle.. boy, was THAT fun. afterwards, i went to eat out with the gang of seven.

bad picture... but that is ok. then, the two princesses sat on their HUGE throne.

then, we each got a ring. =) even though you can't really see it in this picture.

boy, was i surprised...

yup, just another beautiful day..

wow. i haven't updated since break.

ANYWAY.

i just wanted to say that i was watching "A Walk to Remember" on TBS today... from 9:00 to about 10:30 or so and i just absolutely love that movie.

*sigh* it's so sad.. but i love it

AND i really like mandy moore and shane west.

ohh.. and that goes for the music in the movie too.

yeahhhhh, that's about it.

school tomorrow. then a three day weekend. wheeeeeeeeee... and then, 6 weeks (30 days or a month) until another three day weekend/break... then the end of our sophomore year... man, time sure flies.

well, looking forward to seeing swaim tomorrow because he's my FAVORITE teacher. tomorrow will be a good day... even though there's rehearsal. T-T
