Highway accidents

It always puzzled me how do people get into accidents on the highway.  You're only moving at most 10-20mph in relation to everyone else on the road, so short of spontaneous mechanical failure like an axle disintegrated, theres absolutely no reason to get into a crash.  Seriously.  Americans dont understand the concept of controlling a vehicle.  Its almost like the concept of paying attention while you move a 1500kg metal vast escapes their puny brain's abilities...

Economic Stimulus?... okay... if you say so.

I pulled some money from the ATM the other day and felt like I had a little more than I should have, I dont know, I didnt think too much about it because I dont keep track of money very well.

I logged into my account a few days later and realized it was because I gotten the Bush tax-rebate whatever thing.  A whopping $600 was given to me, free, no question asked.  (I think, I dont know, maybe its going to be taken away next year? I dont know, someone enlighten me here).

So, the goal here is to help the economy so people will spend more money.  I mean... sure, thanks for trying but ... $600? What the hell?  I mean, thats like a good weekend, or in some cases a pretty good Friday night.  Seriously, what is $600 going to do?  I didnt even realize it was there until I went through the itemized list.

I mean, for the government its a X billion dollar refund, but for everyone who gets it, its like a new phone or carbon fiber hood or a nice new outfit.  Thats supposed to turn things around?  Okay... They should've taken that money and done something useful with it, I dont know, build a new bridge or something.

Time... or lack there of

I'm not particularly busy at work... as a matter of fact I've nothing to do.  But... I still have to be here.  I wake up at like 7:15AM (Or try to lol) and get to work by like 8:45.  I leave at 5PM (17:00) and head to the gym.  Including trip there, changing, warmups, etc, I leave the gym at 7PM (19:00) the earliest.  Now... that leaves like no time to do anything, since now it'll be at least 30 minutes to get anywhere and I gotta sleep by like 12:00, so for that to happen I gotta "shut down" by like 11:40 so I can wash up and whatever.

Thus, I only get about 4 usable hours to go out, that is including dinner and whatever else I wanna do.

Work absolutely blows.  When I was at my old position I'd go in at 10AM and leave whenever, most likely at 4PM (16:00) and be done by like 6PM (18:00) ready to go out, and I could stay up much later since I woudnt have to getup until 8-9AM.

I need to find a better job or more like... a job that doesnt require such a long time commitment.  But... I can use the money so... corporate prison indeed.
