This is all about having faith in Christ and in each other, and most importantly spreading prayer and love for one another! Please be kind and don't leave anything horribly rude. COMMUNITY (who are we?)
- We are anyone we want to be. Everyone is welcome to leave comments requesting new topic posts and such.
-This is just a xanga for those with anything to say about loving Christ.
-This is most definitely non-denominational!!! Anyone's thoughts are welcome. (please once again just keep it kind)
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
-Well, obviously we are about loving God, but it is so much more than that. Loving God is something we all (surely including myself) need to put more emphasis on in our daily life.
- This is just a chatty place online for us to discuss anything from horrible days to fun music (it doesn't always have to be about God but that's the focus here....if you had a bad day post a comment about it and the "community" knows to pray for you)
- All we are really about here is remembering to turn to God in times of need, praying for each other, and recognizing and appreciating that God IS in our everyday teenage lives! (oh, and putting that message out for people who need help in their life whether they need help with their faith in Christ or just need friendly comments in times of trouble!)
HOW WE BEGAN
- One night I was sitting around thinking (Courtney Stratton= me: http://www.xanga.com/stillproud2bfreakchik ) and I realized that there are lots of teens out there (including my friends and I )who need to pray for each other and use our faith as strength when things get rough. I get down a LOT, and I know plenty of other people do too. That's what this dumb xanga is for. When we have a bad day or a family member is sick, or even if we just want to bring something up for (friendly) debate regarding God, HERE is where we can go to do it.
- I decided to create this xanga to serve as a fun, friendly, online type "youth group" for people I know and hopefully people I don't will feel welcome enough to join as well!
MISCELLANEOUS THAT I HAVEN'T COVERED (hah)
- if you have good music (doesn't have to be religious just has to be encouraging or give off an idea of human attempts to try harder in life...basically just nothing extremely inappropriate haha) just send me a link and I will give it a listen and I'll stick it up as the song on here for a few days!
- Definitely feel welcome to post things that are going on in your local area (especialy if you live in the "Huntsvegas" area...that's Hunstville/Madison County since I am first recruiting people in my own area to read and comment regularly) if there are neato youth group activities or service oppurtunities. Whatever you like...it's cool....
-PLEASE PLEASE keep us updated on how you are so we can pray for you! Tell us about your puppy that is sick, or your crappy day, or your recent breakup, or even how awesome your new church is! It's all welcome here! It's like hanging with your buddies at a youth meeting ok? Don't be shy about what's on your mind!
ABOVE ALL LET'S BE CHEESY NICE KIDS AND OBSERVE THE GOLDEN RULE KIDDOS!haha....
