so I have really good news. I was so bored today & my borther was watching MTV Made & this girl wanted to be Made into a skateboarder. I only watched a few minutes of it as I walked out the door. It reminded me of when I was a kid & used to skateboard. So I texted Amanda & we went to the mall & bought boards. Just like $50 boards to start.
When we got home as soon as I got on the board I could ride it, I guess I never really forgot.. I mean really I told myself when I bought the board if this can at least eliminate some walking then it is worth every penny of the $50 (I don't drive). And with the depression if it gets me out of the house (I love being outside but often don't have the motivation to go out), then that also makes it worth the money. $50 isn't anything to me, me & Amanda looked into getting $100 board at the Vans store but decided to start out basic.
I don't know it's just so much faster than walking around!! We hung out down the street from my house & practiced things like running the board then hoping on, resting the board on your feet & then kicking it over & jumping on, ollies, & manuals. It was fun. We're going out again tomorrow, my friend Regis is going to come over & teach us some tricks/tips.
There are almost NO HUMAN RIGHTS in communist China
-It is estimated that there are as many as 20 million Chinese working in prison camps!
-forced prison labor, arbitrary arrests, and the imposition of the death penalty for minor offenses, no due process
-Chinese law forbids the advocation of independence or self-determination for territories Beijing considers under its jurisdiction, as well as public challenge to the CCP's monopoly in ruling China.
-China's One-Child Policy
-The PRC detains individuals for exercising their rights to: freedom of association freedom of religion freedom of expression ->including the right to impart and receive information and other basic rights. The total number of persons in China imprisoned without charge for exercising these rights is unknown however, is estimated to be FAR in excess of the approximately 3,000 individuals that the PRC currently acknowledges imprisoning for "counter-revolutionary" or political crimes.
-The primary mechanism of control over the news media and publishing is self-censorship. Chinese journalists, editors and publishers are expected to make the information they disseminate conform to CCP Propaganda Department guidelines. For example, news coverage is required to be "80% positive and 20% negative.

once upon a time a girl met a girl name L and L rode her bike all over the east coast & hitchiked her way to california & back. Who couldn't love a girl like L? Certainly not I. But it's hard to like a girl who's always running away. For weeks you might not see her, she sleeps on park benches & gets rides from whoever will give them, her phone dies & even if she needed help she could never call you. So maybe I buy a bike & decided to chase the country after her, but she comes back. & Says she'll stay but who knows. The only catch is now that she's seen all of the world she has no need for someone so reginal as me. And soon I am nothing more than old memories of videos & drunk nights cuddling. And can you not blame me for not coming about when she has her new girl toy always around? But I found my bike the other day & it brought back every memory of how my friend Ian was convinced me & her would get married & run off together. I should sell the bike it can never be redeemed.
I messaged this story to someone tonight, obviously it is autobiographical, and for some of you who have read my journal for awhile may remember this girl & the very trials & tribulations I talk about. But I finally said "I don't want to be the master of everyone & MY own secrets" & so I asked my friend, "would you like to have one of my stories? Maybe there is one I would not like to keep." Knowing very well it was this one. He said yes. He is much younger than me. I doubt he will grasp it, the significance, he will take it as just a tidbit from my life, but if you really read it it is so much more, it has undertone. He is not too bright, I may have used too much vocabulary. The story may be wasted on him, I doubt he will ever think of it again after he reads it, I am sure he will never retell it.
"I do blow. And boy I do it viciously. Lines in my face and that motherfuck is history! Cocaine, cocaine, try the bright snow white. On the power track so I drink to my health. Do a rail off the mirror and I wink to myself. No needle in my vein that I have to maintain cause a bitch like me is doing cocaine!"
My name is Amanda (18), I'm a lesbian.
