| well, i quit ateriavia.
i even surprised myself on this one. totally caught myself, my
band, my family, and even all my friends off guard. we were doing
great and making awesome music, getting better every recording. we even
jsut finished a new one. it sounds fantastic. but lately
ive just been feeling like i needed something more. something more
stable. touring is fun but very costly, and it isnt the most
profitable thing in the world. and dont get me wrong, this isnt
about money at all. its about me and what i want to do with my life.
and what i want to do is go to college. i figured now is a good a time
as any. and im extremely motivated to get on with my life and to
do this. and im very excited.
mike, eric, niki, and chris are four of my closest friends. and leaving
them is the hardest part. ive been with them everyday for over a year
pretty much. and we basically live together in a van. im gonna
miss em but plan to keep in touch. they are will always be
family. so whatever they do i wish them luck, and everyone should
support their new bands and decisions. they are good
people.
so my plans for the future are basically this. work this summer
and save money, go to school in the fall. then repeat basically for the
next four years. i know im already two years behind... but thats
ok, i dont regret my last two years one bit. so far in life ive done
everything ive ever wanted to, and i still am. no regrets.
i met a lot of people through ateriavia, all over the country. so everyone should keep in touch.
im so excited about everything right now. exzcited for school,
excited for working, excited about jenna, excited about seeing my old
friends more. just excited about life in general. and i
really hope i have everyones support in this decision. it was a
tough one. and this is a huge pivot point in my life.
all good things come to an end sometime.
