Oh ... last day of camp today. *tear*
It was sooo sad. Mikaela started crying.  She's sooo cute.
Uhm ... there was ... nine kids in the camp. Kayla, Jessica.B, Jessica.D, Acacia, Neva, Masa [only boy], Pegah, Parmis [sp???], uhm ... one more ... oh yah. HAHA, and Mikaela.
Kayla's the first kid who talked to me on the first day. She sat with me at lunch [Yaaay ...] and she was, I think, the kid I was most close to. She's one of those kids who, like, think they know everything ... and think everyone else is ... less educated than them. And once she finds something she doesn't know "everything" about she asks really, really PERSONAL questions ... like I told her about how I was adopted and she was like ... "Why were you adopted? Did your mother abandon you or something??" ... I was like ... AwWwWw ... it hurt me.
Jessica.B [Kayla's cousin.] is ... I don't really know alot about her ... she's loud. She's got a constant stuffed up nose [weiiird ...] and that's basicly it.
Jessica.D is ... really, really annoying. She's one of those dumb kids who think they know everything ... but they don't and one of those ... uhm "tattle-tales" [haha]. I think she's got some sort of ... disability, but I'm not sure. She's really, really LOUD [holy fucking shit she is!!!] and weird. At first she was really, really quiet and then I took her to the bathroom and she got really, really loud and then we became "friends" apparently after that ...
Then there's Acacia. She's the daughter of the camp "planner" and uhm ... she's really, really cute and spoiled. She's got ... 4 er 3 younger sisters [they are ADORABLE!] and uhm ... oh yah. Today she was sooo cute. I helped work on her doll [camp project] and she left to go swimming and I was like "Bye Acacia! HAVE FUN!!!" and she was like "Bye Melissa! I hope somehow you have fun too!!!" and she had the CUTEST SMILE ... awww ... it was adorable. Oh yah, and she has a lisp!
OMG ... then there's Neva ... one of the most ... uhm, annoying kids I've ever known [apart from Jessica.D] ... she's ALMOST got a unibrow [hehe], and she's a "tattle-tail" and thinks everything she touchs is hers. Uhm, she's OKAY sometimes. She's really, REALLY rough with kids younger than her. And ... yah. She's really cute though ... she's SO rude with her actions but like ... her manners are sooo good. Way better than mine. She's always like "Thank you." "Excuse me." buuut ... she's got a REALLY short attention span and she doesn't listen AT ALL ... jesus christ. Uhm ... and yah. She's rude ... did I mention that?? Very, very rude. She was trying to get on the bus so fast she pushed me out and almost in front of a car ... grrr.
Uhm ... ahaha. Masa, the only boy at our camp. He has a thing for hobos. He's always like "Hobo this, hobo that." [not exactly those words but ... meh.] and uhm ... he's into making up stories about his camp project ... at first it was a he-she thing ... haha. And now it's some sort of old army dude who's brain got switched with a womans ... so he's got a mans body, and a womens brain ... very weird.
And then there's Pegah, the most polite one at the camp ... I think. Uhm, she's really quiet but nice when you get her to talk. She's also ALMOST got a uni-brown [hehe] and yah ... she's cute.
And Parmiss. She's 12 [almost 13] and she's one of those kids who like ... thinks she's so ... mature and good with kids, which I admit she is but ... she's so ... controlling. Like, I was asigned a group and like ... I didn't do ANYTHING ... she wouldn't let me ... and then finally the camp leader changed our groups.
Uhm, and the last kid is Mikaela ... she's sooo cute. Omigoodness. She like ... awww ... she's ADORABLE!!!
The first day after lunch all the kids were doing art ... and they talked about some weird shit that I didn't know about until like ... last year. They talked about suicide and slitting wrists and shit ... and I got sooo tense only the other camp counceller [Alexa, she's almost 16, and she's really, really pretty.] noticed though. Kayla's brother's friend slit her wrists and died ... and when she told me that ... she was like "Why would ANYONE DO THAT?! I mean like ... blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." It was sooo weird. And Masa was like "Only girls do that!" and Mikaela said "Why would anyone do that?" and Parmiss said "Because they're depressed." and I was like ... WHOOOOA. "So, Alexa, what do we have planned for today??" Just to change the subject.
And then eairlier that day at lunch when Kayla came to sit with me she started talking about eating disorders ... ugh ... and she came sat down and we weren't talking at first and she was like ... "So, do you know what Anorexia is ... ?" and I was like "..........................Yes." and she's like "Oh." *silence* "My sister's boyfriend has that." and I was like ... whoooa. "Oh." and then earlier today she told me that her sister's boyfriend weighs like 78 pounds ... and I was like HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! But back to Monday's conversation. She was like "Do you know what the other one is called ...?" and I was like "..............Bulimia...?" and she was like "YEAH!" and I was like whoooa ... and then this was really weird, she was like "What's the point of eating if they're just gonna throw it up afterward?!?! It makes NO SENSE." ... it was sooo weird. So, after that I changed the subject.
Tracey [the camp counceller] was the first one to notice my scars. She was like [it was in the morning before anyone got there.] "So, Melanie, you have a cat?" and I was like "What?" and she pointed to her arm and was like "You have a cat?" and I was like ... "Oh, yah! I do. She's pure evil." and then after that Mikaela noticed and she was like "What are all those?" and I was like ... "Oh, that's from my cat. He's evil." and she like picked up my arm and was like "ARe you sure? It looks like you did it yourself." And I was like "No, why would I do that??" and then we had to go for lunch.
Just before I left today Pattie [the camp artist person who taught the art part of the camp] was like "Okay everyone, Melissa's leaving! Thank you Melissa for being such a BIG help!" *hugs me* and I was like "Thank you for the week Pattie. I had SO much fun." [AHAHAHAHA] and then Pattie was "Okay, everyone. Say bye to Melissa." and [this is scary] Neva, Acacia, Jessica.D and Mikaela all ran towards me with their arms out and was like "BYE MELISSA!" and then we had a group hug and Mikaela started crying. Awww ... it was sooo sad. Kayla and Jessica.B left early. Shucks.
Well ... that's my post.
