Does every Christian feel called to missions?

I met with one of our students tonight. They asked me "Does every Christian feel called to do Missions?" This person feels God is calling them to missions but was wondering if they should just push the thoughts away, because they thought every Christian feels called to be a occupational missionary but those who aren't missionaries are those who just chose to ignore God calling them. This person doesn't feel they are getting the support from certain people in their lives and thinks maybe they should reconsider what God has been telling them. What are your thoughts? Are We all called to be occupational missionaries?

SALT, furnace, central air and a bloody nose

We returned last night from SALT (Regional Chi Alpha conference) in Rochester, MN. It was awesome! You should check out syrogers.com. Sy Rogers was one of our speakers. He was great!

Last night as I am trying to sleep, I was woken up to the sound of our furnace back firing. We called a repair man out and he told us that it will cost 2/3 the price of a brand new furnace to repair. So we have decided to get a new furnace since it is too danger for us to use. While we are at it we have decided to put in Central Air. The joys of being a home owner.

This morning, days from being 28. I had my first bloody nose. I think it was caused by the extremely cold weather here and in MN.

What I did for New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve I decided I would try dying my hair for the first time. So my sister and I went up to Wal-mart at 10:00 pm and bought a dye and highlight. I am not sure that my hightlights are not orange. But that is okay. I am okay with having orange hair. As to whether or not I will dye my hair again, we will see.

Tomo!!!

Tuesday night we had a "See you again soon" Party for our friend Tomo. Tomo studied for 21 months at K-State. We knew him for 16 months of that time and he became our really good friend that we love very much. One of the foods that Tomo missed very from Japan was Sushi. So Shawn made him some Sushi made from chicken, rice and tortillas. It was made from ingredients from Chipotle because Chipotle was his favorite restaurant in Manhattan. Tomo's flight back to Japan left Wednesday morning from Kansas City. So we stayed up and left Manhattan at 2 am and took him to the airport.
