hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! mine did start out too well, but it ended alright =)
my mom is here from korea, so i'm down in VA seeing family and stuff.. going to be going back and forth between here and md the next wk or 2 til my mom leaves.
what are ppl's new year's plans? still haven't figured out what i'm doing.. hope it's better than last yr in korea cuz believe it or not, my new year's last yr was pretty lame...
here's what happened with my new year's resolutions for 2006 and what's i'm aiming for in 2007...
--2006 New Year's Resolutions--
(bolded were actually fulfilled)
-better grades
-be a better sister and daughter (this one will never be bolded because i can always be better)
-start going out to church again
-take more photos for PHOTOGRAPHY.. candids also! (sort of fulfilled..)
-keep up a regular work out (i started here in korea)
-be a more active sister.. in 2 senses
-find a lil ^^
-read more.. esp catch up on some of the classics
-save up more money
-make it continue to work.... for a 2nd year ^.<
comments on 2006 resolutions... i worked out more this yr than i did last yr... but not consistently at all.. need to keep up with it... also, i think i took more pictures.. not any photography stuff, but candids... but still not as many as i'd hoped... but in any case.. the most important/highest priority resolutions on my list were fulfilled, which i couldn't be happier about ^^
--2007 New Year's Resolutions--
-4.0 GPA
-be a better sister and daughter (this one will never be bolded because i can always be better)
-start going out to church again (need to find a good one)
-take more photos for PHOTOGRAPHY.. candids also!
-keep up a regular work out
-stay active in Sigma
-find a lil ^^
-read more.. esp catch up on some of the classics
-save up even more money
-start the application process for the Peace Corps
-keep in touch better with biggie (already a LOT better)
-get to know sisters better nationwide
-visit my VA family more often.. not just on special occasions
-make it continue to work.... for a 3rd year ^.<
some of those goals seem pretty ambitious.. and some of them have definitely been on my list for several consecutive yrs.. but they're all possible and i'll try my best. what makes me happy to see is that i have managed to accomplish at least SOME of my many new year's resolutions each yr =)
something that i'm especially happy about this yr... resolving previous "unhappinesses" (as evee put it) and getting to be much closer with evelyn again. living together this past semester has been awesome... all the long talks and games and video games and encouragement and just being there for each other.. giving, taking, sharing.. and supporting and helping each other.. it's been a really fun and interesting semester. when i was pledging things got kinda bad and we grew apart, but living together this yr has completely changed all of that. we've both changed too.. for the better.. i can see it =)

| OFFICIALLY 21 YRS OLD!!
too bad thursdays are my longest days... no breaks from 9'30am-10pm, but i'll have plenty of time to celebrate with friends and family this wkend =)
