National Youth Commission is a government related department that targets young people in all aspects of life.  Are you a foreigner and can’t speak Chinese? How about a Chinese person who has lived in another country all your life and can’t speak Chinese well? NYC is your ultimate hero! There are various services they offer for your convenient traveling purposes.

1)      tour buddy – one on one free English speaking tour guide that takes you around for the day

2)      digital tour buddy – free cell phone with pre-paid minutes and pre-set speed dials when you’re lost in translation. It can take you to a 24 hour hotline that can guide you to the correct destinations, 24 hour police hotline, call a taxi, and much more!

3)      Discount card (Youth Travel Card) – sign-up for this card and you can get discounts at over 300 places including food, lodging, services, fun, etc.

4)      Discount guest houses (Youth Guesthouses Network) – located in many of the large Taiwan cities, spending the night never seemed cheaper. Spend less on lodging and save more for the attractions! These guesthouses range from 300-600 Taiwan dollars.

5)      TR passes – cooperating with the Taiwan rail company, with your discount card and passport you are able to buy a 10 day rail pass for a lot cheaper. For 10 days you can get on and off the train at the destination you desire for just one price.

So i woke up today at 7 am to go to orientation at Express. I get to the mall around 8:30 and find out that orientation was cancelled. someone was supposed to call me last night but i guess not..so i go home and knock out on the bed.

so we have two beds in my sisters room..and mine is more of a futon than a bed...the cushion is diff. i swear to you, this futon sucks the coolness straight out of your body after lying in it for like 1 hour.  I get SO SO hot when im lying there. i just cant fall asleep when im breaking out in hot sweat. so i moved to angela's normal bed...oh lemme tell you...its heaven. you know that feeling right when you get into bed...you stretch out your legs and move around and just take in all that coldness from the sheets..ooOo yeah ;)

went to church today..third time at austin stone. this church continues to amaze me. i really love it here because its been too long going around looking for a church where people worship freely like that. 

Today's sermon was about crossing the street with humility to go into the lives of the needy.  to help those who are broken. I love how Pastor Matt Carter says church isnt withhin the four walls but we have to quit being a christian and cross the street and help someone in need. and we will get hurt no doubt about it. 

I think about all those people i've hated. all those people ive tried preaching the gospel to that just wouldn't take any of it in.  Regardless of how frustrated I am with telling them about God...I have to love them the way Jesus loves me.
