• Boba Tea Quiz...please take it!

Dear Everyone!

Nathan and I are dumping our lives upside down...AGAIN!
He is leaving USSD since I am exceptionally tired of working for PT's so that he can be paid next to nothing! We both plan to continue to keep up with martial arts, but $600 a month in bills for that is totally unnacceptable. Anyway, we are going to get jobs bartending - and I am graduating in May! Whoo-hoo! In this vein, we are thinking of starting a boba tea shop and running it ourselves. So, I need your help to be my market research bunnies. Please take my quiz at this link Favorite Boba Tea Flavor!.

Thanks you guys! Spread it as far as it will go!

• Fur people urged to turn to the dark side, and hate caregiver after long-delayed "Wash Day"

Yes, wash day has come at our house, with none of the trappings that might make it perversely quaint. To begin with, I did all the work. And there was no wash day lunch. A wet and unhappy judgment was made upon all fur demons and germ beasties. They were to be sent to the be cleaned away immediately. The cats and the rabbit all got a washing and claw trim. The rabbit was then put away in quarantine to stop his reign of ground-beef eating terror and treat his resulting urinary infection. Seriously, Kate's demon rabbit is not a good match for our house - he could not be kept away from the cat's wet food or kibble, so we switched them to ground beef. He ignored it for two days before deciding to eat it at the exclusion of the cats getting any. We tried putting the bowl on the table so he could not get up there, but the cats are so stupid about eating that they knock it off the edge with the way they eat (even though it has rubber edges so it won't scoot). The rabbit then eats what falls on the floor. Plus, he has started jumping up on the coffee table and destroying things there. Roald Dahl. Bills. My homework. We moved the chairs away from it thinking he wouldn't just jump up without a step up, but we were wrong. He will be on the dining room table next, which is why he is probably going home with Kate on Sunday. We are just going to insulate his hutch really well and he can use his furry little shower-clogging hide to keep warm. SIGH.

• Make me a liar! So, my photoshop trial expired before I could lighten up some of my wedding photos. Some of the ones I like best are very shadowy because they were taken right at dusk and the sun is behind all the people in them. Oh well. More waiting for wedding pics. Not to worry though, turns out my mom showed lots of people the pictures, and gave my sister the disc to copy, before I ever got to see them myself. So, you guys are like eighth on the list to see them, right after me at number seven. Ha. I thought that was just so very FUNNY.

Sigh. Anywhoo, I just got an immensely satisfying birthday gift! My very first BLACK PHOENIX ALCHEMY LAB fragrance. I LURVE IT SO MUCH. It smells like a slightly run-down peach orchard on the edge of the desert where we picked till dusk once when I was little. Nathan likes it too, which makes me feel good about it, because I won't feel guilty for flaunting my fragranced hide. YAY! I am not allergic to it, either, like I am to the Victoria Secret stuff I used to wear. Utter joy. The very best part? Nathan got it for me! I also got a gift certificate to the art store Meiningers which is one of my favorite places to wander about in for 8 hours at a time. Happy Day!

I will make an effort over fall break to get the wedding pics up, but I have three exams and a paper this week so you'll have to be patient.

LOVE C
