| and now... i just sit here and wait... *crossing fingers* | | |
| i haven't updated in a long time.. i got a job.. but why do i feel sad and depressed? shouldn't i be happy that it took me less than a month after i graduated to find a great opportunity... w/ a good company.. in the city of my choice.. i guess i have a lot on my mind.. w/ so little time and preparation after graduation.. i am completely overwhelmed... i guess this is really it.. my first time i will be away AWAY from my parents (i feel so bad that i spent so little time w/ my mom since she came back from HK the day before my graduation just to see me graduate).. i dont get to keep my cat w/ me.. i won't have my car w/ me.. i am making sacrifices.. i won't be in my comfort level.. i won't be in state college.. i won't get to see my long time friends often anymore... i wont have all my belongings w/ me.. i do know that there are so many positives to this opportunity.. i get to continue my work experience & surprisingly w/ very little gaps in between (what i hate the most).. i get to see Vic more.. i get to live w/ my aunt, uncle & cousin; see them more often.. i get to be on my own in a way.. i get to be away from state college (the place ive lived most of my life).. i get to live.. eat.. and see life in a whole new way.. i get to sort of start fresh.. ill finally make money.. i have a lot to learn i have so much i am going to miss.. and so much more to look forward to.. im just mixed with emotions right now.. i am really having a difficult time getting through this.. this is a really big change for me..  | | |

| Happy New Year's though it is two days late.. ANYWAYS..
I noticed that for 2007 resolutions.. a lot of people want to quit drinking among other things.. and well not to join the bandwagon here.. but that is one of my resolutions.. i can't say if i can keep from drinking the rest of my life.. but i would like to try and see how long i can stay clear of alcohol.. i took my very last sip on New Year's Eve at approximately 11:54 pm. W/ the exception of my b~day (which I do not plan to get plastered that night either or ever). The new year has not started out that great for me either *sigh*.. i just feel so unhappy.. and my holiday spirits are not what they used to be like.

| Winter Break- So fall semester is finally over! I think I did particularly well this semester, and I am so glad that it is over for now. I hope everyone is having and will have a good break.
Christmas Break- I went to NYC to spend xmas w/ my bf and his family.
Thursday: Didn't do anything, ate @ Joe Shanghai got some yummy "soup dumplings" 
sooo good.. that definitely satisfied my craving for that until the next time I go up. Then we left Flushing to head towards the Roosevelt Mall to shop. On our way out there we passed by this chinese restaurant and I saw two HK drama/movie stars!! Ron Ng (who is a lot tanner in person and cute hehe)
 and Shirley Yeung
(I don't know what she was wearing but it was all different colors from head to toe), I wanted to take a picture of them but we just did a drive by and saw them. no picture  Anyways, so we got to the mall and I didnt feel like shopping, what a surprise I think all these last minute xmas shopping/shoppers were too hectic for me to just watch. I was overwhelmed when I walked into Forever 21 and I wanted everything in the store. Then went home, and I gave Vic his presents, they weren't as good as last year but it's the thought that counts. He gave me my gifts, I got a white Nebula North Face jacket and something else that will make me happy through the winter months I am also looking at the LG VX8600 phone for my xmas/bday gift, I feel bad asking my bf to get me a phone now when my 2 yr contract will be up in june/july, but my phone is getting a lil wacky, and yes I am STILL sticking to Verizon *sigh* I do like this phone, it's sort of like the chocolate in its features and like the razr cuz of its size but it is not as wide, and it does have a lot of better features than my phone now.
Friday: A crappy rainy day, but hung out w/ Vic's mom and his mom's cousin for the day. We went to eat some Viet food in chinatown, and we went to go get our hair done. Yeah I asked for bangs.. and I got side bangs which looks like the mushroom haircut i hate.. why cant i ever get a haircut that comes out the way i want it to?! oh well I'm stuck w/ it until i can go back w/ a picture of what i want. Afterwards, we met up w/ his aunt and then we went to Rockefeller Center to see the tree, and since it was raining and all it was not fun but the tree was still beautiful. Snowflakes on a building
Then we went to eat in Queens for some yummy malaysian food and went home to pass out. Got to play w/ Vic's TMX Elmo and I thought it was so stupid but so cool too that I asked my brother to give me the one he had, so I get a TMX Elmo too! it's just not in my posession at the moment.
Saturday: Went to NJ to spend the day w/ his friends for their xmas get together. It was a good day, quite interesting because we did a secret santa exchange, and I ended up getting Patty's dog Popeye (and his poor armless, stuffingless, eyeless and mouthless elmo by his side)

and he was the best secret santa ever, because no matter what I got him.. he liked, he even knew which bag was his hehe. What I got from my secret santa, something to add to my list of things I wanted  a huggable usb hub  , then we went to Minado's in NJ for some japanese buffet so many yummy food. Sunday: Just a lazy day. My head hurt like crazy so I ended up sleeping the entire afternoon. But we went to East Manor Buffet in Queens w/ his bro and gf to eat more yummy food, yeah by this time I realized I do a lot of eating while I'm in NY and right about now I wish I could eat some of the stuff I had at the buffet. Afterwards we went to the city to see the tree again and it was a nice night to do it even though it was freezing I had my new jacket to keep me warm. Here are a few pictures

Monday: Went to Vic's family xmas dinner, saw his dad's side of the family and just enjoyed good company. His family are all so close it's so nice. hehe. Ate a lot, I mean A LOT of food there. Relaxed and opened gifts, got a scarf from Vic's mom and a nice turtleneck from his Aunt Sue. Then after that I knew it was a matter of time before my vacation was over. Packed all my stuff and pouted myself to sleep 
Tuesday: My last day nothing special, the end.
