| just wanted to put a new blog up so everyone isnt reading the same thing everything they come here.. which is probably not often at all. oh well
uh yesterday was my moms birthday, and we went to black angus. it was good but we were there for 2 whole hours! it got to be so boring after a while. but whatever, i just pretended i didnt feel well so i didnt have to get brought into the conversations everyone was having.
i have a babysitting job on sunday, its kinda exciting actually. the baby is about 8 1/2 months old and her dad is a couselor at my old high school. and since ive had loads of practice with my baby cousin im all set and ready to watch baby aubrie!
on another note, i found a friend on myspace that i havent seen or heard of or from since 2nd grade, and i got to talk to him on aim. and hopefully we can hang out and be friends again. we will see what happens..
yea ok well sorry this wasnt much to read about.. ill leave you with that.
im praying for you guys that are in any kind of danger from the fires!
| september 20, 2005 3pm (right after school got out)
a 14 year old freshman girl that attended downey high, was ran over by a garbage truck and killed instantly.her name was serena rodriguez. it happened right after school at the crosswalk between starbucks and the in n out where i work on firestone and lakewood. she was walking across the street to meet up with her dad on the starbucks side, (with in n out behind her). it was said that he had told her to cross the street. meanwhile, as she was making her way across, a garbage truck driver was speeding up to make the light from the left hand turn lane on firestone. he didnt see her crossing the street. serena's father stood there and helplessly watched the whole accident happen. how would you feel if you were in his shoes? he was going crazy. her mother wasnt there though, she is in the hospital pregnant right now. i used to work with her older brother richard at in n out, my heart and prayers go out to him and his family after a tragedy like this happened. 3 of my co workers plus myself went across the street tonight after we got off work at 11. we went to give our condolences to the family members and pay our respects to serena. her family are very religious people. (some camera guys from ch 7 recorded us live while we were there and it was shown on tv.)
everyone pray for serena's family. they need it. serena didnt deserve to have this happen to her, no one does.
just thought i would share what i knew, from the news information and the personal information i recieved from my managers at in n out.
be careful out there in the real world!
| life is good again,1) i have my most prized and favorite possesion back. MY CAR! and its practically brand new again, and even better.. its clean! i mean come on, who doesnt love a clean car? and 2) my relationship with tim is going awesome. so far so great! sometimes its unbelieveable to me that we are still going as well as we are. and im loving every minute of it.
so anyways...this xanga thing is pretty old.. it seems like myspace is taking over.. but its still cool to read the posts people still write. .mine arent all that interesting, but i have some friends who are excellent writers and it shows in some of their posts.. i love my friends.
