| I heard a loud noise and something hit the house last night around 11:15pm. I went outside with a bat and flashlight to look around. Saw nothing and no damage. Came back to my room and 2 minutes later a rock came crashing through my window. Scared the beegees out of me. I ran to the other window and saw a car driving away. This is my broken window
This is the rock that came through my room. Thank goodness my curtain was in the way so it didn't fling in very far. This was the rock from the first attempt that fell to the side of our house.
~sigh~ people these days. |

| ~sigh~ i feel so mean sometimes. I know sales calls really suck, but when you get like at least one a day at work, what can you do but just hang up the phone on them. But usually, I let them talk their little spiel first so they can feel good about not getting another hang up, cuz seriously, how many hang ups a day can a person take? And then I usually shoot them down with the reason about why I do not want to try their toner. Most of the people just give up and hang up, others will keep trying and I just say I'm not interested. But this particular guy today just wouldn't give up. So I felt the need to spell out exactly how and why I will never have an opportunity nor want an opportunity to try his product and to take me off his calling list. And then he finally caved in and said ok. So the moral of the story is that I will probably get another annoying phone call like this next week, listen to the same drabble, and have to shoot this person down! |
