what's the best thing to do than savouring a cup of tea on a crisp sunday morning?

speech day performance was fair. the thoughts tht ran through my mind was just to conduct my best and bring up the mood and feel of the band.

right after everything, i went out to get alena's birthday present with jieren, huipeng and shixian at jurong point!

we thought the mood was perfect for a movie so we went to see the timing for the show. was contemplating whether to watch 赤壁/red cliff or hancock.

personally, i was so not into red cliff bcos it's overly chinese. and it turns me off after seeing th advertisements of the movie with chinese officials, concubines, and all.

so, i was eager to catch hancock! since it's starring will smith! i admire will smith alot for his versatile acting skills. i like him in i am legend.

initially, we were a little amused and adamant when the movie started bcos it was a little absurd in the beginning with will smith being able to fly like a superman in ... normal clothing.

subsequently, the show got better when the storyline seem to unravel itself progressively.

go catch hancock. it aint some cheap comedy on the big screens (i had this impression bcos of the title) but a really good show! there's special effects, love, and lots of heart wrenching scenes (i swear).

on a scale of 1-5, i'd rate it 4.5!

tdy was productive. bcos i went to the library in the morning with josephine to do homework. we got a good table bcos we reached early!

completed lots of homework and tasks to do in 3 hours of intense focusing.

was glad tht i managed to finish so many things bcos it'd been time since i evr completed tasks on time.

currently, im having monday blues so i hope tmr's a fine day with the sun shining bright and warm and the atmosphere invigorating my senses.

this' just a random photo i took on last saturday that captured the dancers in active practices for their dance.

tdy the dancers danced to jap graf during the speech day rehearsal. i saw their focused attention all on making it good, i saw their hard work, i saw their dedication.

despite the many challenges we faced today, &with u guys tearing bcos u guys were rejected for ur efforts, im really really glad to have camaraderie like u guys. &i mean wht i said.

im glad to be able to work with u self-motivated people. who knows what to do even without constant reminders.

im sure efforts do pay off. as the saying goes, 'we reap what we sow'.

u guys'd sowed the seeds tht represent the efforts and passion put into the dance, and im sure we'd reap a whole lot of lush harvest.

anticipating is a turmoil.

in life, there's countless anticipation.

we anticipate the event's arrival, we anticipate the results, we anticipate the arising of a problem ...

but when do these anticipations never fail to torment us mentally?

the answer is always.

i've been waiting for a reply. yes, any reply. a notification that im accepted, or even a slightest clue tht im not. but it just never came.

it's now late in the night and im thinking of how im numbed to evrything in school. i knw i've said this countless times but now, the feeling is really cold.

im numbed to the daily routine of waking up early in the morning, taking a transport to school, attending classes, getting a transport home, doing homework, get a rest, and the cycle repeats.

im so desensitised by this series that i yearn for something new; a whole new experience.

it's like eating the same food everyday and u'd plunge into anything special/new you can get your hands on.

bringing things back to reality, im glad tht im catching up with my homework.

oh i just had to say this; i think my memory has a limited amount of space for the storage of information. im losing my knowledge of math as time progresses. i've clean forgotten about differentiation, integration, binomial and many more (tht i cant think of ) ...

gosh, what's gone to me.

i just had to post this up.

it is super classic! i simply love the shade of blue and white on the stage.

tht night was really unforgettable. i missed holding my trumpet, playing it, and expressing it. i can still savour the feeling of my solo. evrything was simply magical.
