| i just wanted to let anyone who cares know that im not going to update at all over the summer... i have like a million things im supposed to be doing, but thats not why im not going to get on. im just too lazy... i think ill start updating again in august when school starts up- i wont know anyone in the entire state ill be in so theres a good chance ill have lots of free time! | | |
| i hate spring break... i really do. its like they give you a week to have fun, and just when youre starting to relax and forget about all things stressful, they suck you back in. its like some cruel joke that no one thinks is funny...
on that note, i had an amazing time over spring break! i went on a cruise with a certain jennifer mcgraw and we ate tons of delicious food. it was fantastic... if anyone asks me what i think heaven will be like, i have three words for them: 24 hour pizza! and they let us drive these go-karts off roading in cozumel- anyone who knows us understands why thats not a good idea! when i drove i almost killed jenn a couple of times and i ran over a tree- jenn almost crashed us into a swamp and then broke it (maybe it ran out of gas...?) last but certainly not least, we met a beautiful slovakian boy named jakub... he had that slightly strange european humor thing going on, but im not gonna lie, we liked it. and he made the greatest coffee of all time... whats not to love? lol
it was so much fun- everyone should take a cruise! lol people keep asking me if i got tan though... have these people not met me? just to clear that one up, i am, and possibly always will be, invisible to the sun. no burns, no tans, occasionally more freckles though- ya gotta love that! | | |
| im really bored... im sitting on jennifer mcgraws couch right now waiting for house to come on. if it was any show other than house i would def go home right away, but house just so happens to be my absolute favorite tv show of all time, so i suppose i can survive 15 more minutes of american idol (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!) if any of you didnt pick up on that, that was a scream of total agony. i despise american idol- i used to think it was the most pointless show on television, but then i had the misfortune of flipping through the channels and accidentally seeing about 5 minutes of dancing with the stars... enough said! but seriously, i dont understand why people watch these shows! the only ones that i can even handle are right at the beginning of a season where the people are HORRIBLE and dont even know it (on that note, why dont their families and people who claim to be their friends tell them that they cant sing? wouldnt that be better than lying to them to make them feel good for a little while only to go on national television and be laughed at by millions? lol) anyway, to all you who watch american idol (pay attention jenn!), i only have one thing to say: Tuesday, 8PM, Fox... and for all you who watch dancing with the stars: please dont tell me, i just dont want to know!!!! | | |
| so im not gonna finish the story i started last time- it takes too long and the good part (the running out of gas story) youve probably all heard already anyway! nothing all that exciting is going on in my life right now- shocking, right? lol im pretty much about to drop out of school and join the circus or something. senioritis is most definitely a real disease, i dont care what anyone says! i just want out!!! why wont they let me go??? haha, just in case you wanted to know what runs through my head every day as im sitting in class...
other than that, things arent too bad. i quit my job!!! i should be upset, but im really not at all! now every day i come home from school and lay around watching tv and eating junk food! (*if youre reading this and youre still in high school, dont be like me! im a bad example- get jobs, do homework, and be responsible!!!) lol that was my attempt at being a good role model!
in other news... is there anyone out there that cant touch their toes? lol, thats not as random of a question as it sounds, i promise! theres a story behind it, and i developed a theory that im trying to prove. haha so answer the question! | | |
| its official, road trips are the most fun in the entire world! weird stuff keeps happening to us- right away when we were still in highland village we stopped at mcdonalds to get some food and the guy at the drive thru window told us his entire life story out of nowhere. it was so random! we now know that he recently got married, his wife is expecting twins and they designed a new house that cost them $65,000- its a two story and the landscaping took 6 months, but its ok, because he LOVES it! then we had to stop in oklahoma for like an hour because there was a huge wildfire- we would have been really bored without our good friend jerome in the car next to us to keep us company! we stopped and said hi to my bro at his apartment which was pretty uneventful (side note: he had the movie the notebook in his room, that he claims is his roommates and that he hates it... questionable?) then i was driving and my navigator was on the phone with a boy instead of looking at the map so i went the wrong direction when the interstate split and we ended up in edmond which is an incredibly creepy little town at night! we eventually had to stop at a fire station and interrupt a firefighter party to ask for directions back to the right road! we stopped to eat dinner with jenns brother jack... by this time we were like 4 hours behind schedule at least. a little while later in missouri we had to stop for gas- we walk into the gas station and theres this man sitting on a stool in the middle of the store playing a banjo and singing... i dont even know what the correct response to that is! but when he left a few minutes later he said, "bye gayle, ill see you tomorrow", so i get the feeling it wasnt the first time he'd done it! nothing else all that weird happened that night- we finally got to our hotel it was almost 3 in the morning (we planned on getting there around 10...) then yesterday we drove the rest of the way (another side note: there is not a single grocery store in the state of kansas!!!) we didnt have time to go to the museum of agriculture, which was sad, but its ok because we stopped at the jesse james antique mall- that was a good time!!! we finally made it to council bluffs around 3:30 but i forgot all the road names because its been so long since ive been there! i called my cousin (who doesnt know right and left all that well) and we got even more lost than we were on our own! but its ok, because we eventually made it to where we were going!!! yay for me and jenn! haha but now im getting tired of typing and youre probably tired of reading (and jealous cuz youre not having as much fun as we are!!!) until next time... | | |
