this is how the contest works:

1st round - 10 people in, 2 are voted out

2nd round - 8 people are in, 2 are voted out

3rd round - 6 people are in, 2 are voted out

4th round - 4 are in, 1 is voted out

5th round - 3 people are in, winners are decided.

the rounds are 2-3 days apart so dont rush your layouts and take your time!!

remember, each round has themes!!!

here are the themes for the rounds in the season one contest

round #1 - your best layout

round #2 - you must make a layout with jesse mccartney in it!.... note, if you totally completely hate jesse mccartney, just make the layout an insult lol.

round #3 - you must make a layout with one of the following patterns

round #4 - you have to make a layout with an orange tree on it

round #5 - chose one of these themes: ** bubble gum   **dooney and burke  ** pixie sticks ! sounds crazy but only a REAL layout idol can pull it off!

this is how i will judge:

 i will leave a comment telling you what is good about the layout, and what could be changed,  i will then give you a percentage. the lowest percents are voted out of the contest

good things about the layout:

i really liked the right side module. you have a very custom module, so thats really raelly good. the colors matched pretty well. it was all over, very organizes and clean. great job!

things that could be changed:

it wasn't as on theme as i thought it would be. it didnt really make a dooney and bourke statement. there wasnt a lot to this layout, nothing really too special about it.

good things about the layout:

 i LOVED how you used the theme to make a love layout, but still kept it on theme. it was a great quote; very clever. 

things that could be changed:

there wasn't a lot to this layout though. there wasnt a lot of color, design, it needs to be more exciting. it needs to be something that you cant find on every other layout site.

good things about the layout:

once again the style sheet was outstanding! very original. the colors work togther great and everything looks clean and organised. the sized of the blogs and modules are jsut right, the background is great, and the text is really nice

things that could be changes:

the only thing i didnt really love about this layout was that the colors were a little dull. they still matched, they were just a little dull.
