Personal life
Song was born in Carmichael, California to a Hmong father and a Thai American mother (whose maiden name is "Lee"). Her family came to America from Laos thirty years ago. Song has two younger brothers, Timmy and Nathan, and lives with them in Los Angeles. Song holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was named an All-American Scholar in ninth grade.
Career and Accomplishments
Song began acting and modeling at age 6. She later on turned to acting, her first television appearance was in a Little Caesars commercial. One of Song's biggest acting roles is the role of London Tipton in the Disney Channel Original Series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She also plays a several-episode guest role as Tia in the Disney Channel series Phil of the Future, she had a starring role as Natasha in the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs and as Jennifer in the Disney Channel Original Movie Get a Clue.
Song had minor guest appearances on both That's So Raven and American Dragon: Jake Long. Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior first aired June 16, 2006 and starred Brenda Song as a popular high school student who aspires to be Homecoming Queen, but is called to be the next great warrior.
Song sang alongside other Disney Channel stars in their rendition of "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" which was released on both the special edition "Cinderella" DVD and on the DisneyMania 4 CD. Brenda is also on the first ever Disney Channel Games, as captain of the Blue Team. On her team are Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Cole Sprouse, Monique Coleman, and Jason Earles. Continuity Errors and Bloopers
In Odd Couples, when Zack rings the doorbell on Cody's closet, there is a mailbox, but when Zack comes out, the mailbox is no longer there.
In Commercial Breaks, when Zack, Cody, and Carey got out of the elevator and wait in the line, you can see that Esteban and Maddie are way before them since they went to the back of the line later. However, during the auditon, Maddie was just behind them.
In Ask Zack, English twins Jessica and Janice are shown working on the school paper at Zack and Cody's school, but in Twins At The Tipton, it was intended that they were visiting America for the Twins Convention at the Tipton.
In "Twins At The Tipton," Bob explains to Zack how he heard about Cody's girlfriend breaking up with him, says: "Kim told Phill, who told Ashley, who told Brenda, who told Dylan, who told Cole, who told me — (deep breath) — it's over." These are the real names of the shows stars..this episode played on July 25

It was filmed in Murray (Murray High School) and Salt Lake City, Utah.
In the book, Jamie has an older sister, Allie; while in the movie she has an older brother Lenny, who sings. Allie was also one of Jamie's online friends in the movie.
This movie was partly filmed at the same city as Disney's High School Musical.
High School Musical 2-
East High is on summer hiatus, so the battleground shifts to the country club, founded by (who else?) Sharpay's granddad. Troy, Gabriella and the others show up as lifeguards, waiters and caddies. And the haves and the have-nots tee off in the club's annual midsummer night's musical. There'll be plenty of drama: this time around, Ryan may turn on his sis. But will Troy finally get to kiss Gabriella

ERRORS
- During the intervention scene, the screen says "Recieving Wi-Fi Signal"--especially ironic since this is a scene with the smartest students in the school!
- During the sequence when Troy is heading to the first audition, his shoes switch between blue shoes with white accents and white shoes with blue accents.
- During the scene in the cafeteria, when the school is performing "Stick to the Status Quo", in a long shot you can see Sharpay and Ryan standing at the barrier not moving then two seconds later they are walking down the stairs towards the dancing students!!
- On vacation, when Troy and Gabriella are talking, you could see it had been snowing. But once everybody had counted down to New Year, there were fireworks. This could not happen if it actually had been snowing.
- When the song "We're All in This Together" is performed, you can see Troy and Gabriella mouthing what everyone else is singing, even though their voices can be heard singing other parts in the music.
- While waiting for Gabriella by the lockers before going to rehearse with Kelsi, Troy looks down at his wrist as if to check the time, only he isn't wearing a watch.
- Troy alternates between the numbers 10 and 14 on the back of his basketball jersey throughout the movie.
