Dear Anne,

I figured since I'm a little early that I can write you a line or two to see how things are going nowadays. (Pause)...You betcha I'm gonna ask about the status of your application at St. Vincent's or any other school you might get in that offers a nursing program.  But first thing first, how are you, my dearest darling daughter.  That you are fine and dandy and doin' good is all I care, other problems be it in school or personal or otherwise will be inevitable.  Problems incapable of being avoided are challenges in life and it's really up to the person to face all life's challenges, turn around and succeed.  It may be a bitter pill to swallow, but, take it like a man.  You'll be better sooner.

Don't let yourself down, we're here to support you for however long it takes, you'll get there.

from my ever-so-loving dad . his 'words of wisdom' give me the most encouragement in....anything.  to do better in school and life in general. but reading this letter got me all teary eyed because everything he said is true.  but like i said, this only keeps me going. wanting to pursue my career in nursing isn't the easiest thing to do, but whoever said it was? it'll take time. although i could've been finished within the previous years, maybe this is god's plan for me. i have to work hard in order to get what i want. but i'll do anything to overcome that just as long as i have my loved ones right by my side. you all know who you are....

it's been awhile since i've blogged so i figured i'd write and entry especially since yesterday was special  yesterday was my one year anniversary with erick. how exciting is that?! he's happy, i'm happy. we ate at red lobster in jersey and boooooy was it a feast! i think that's the best thing for couples to do--PIG OUT! lol. on the way home we stopped by jersey gardens. mostly window shoppin and gettin a taste of what to buy for xmas presents  lemme tell you--it's so tiring walking around cuz that mall is just too damn big! my legs were hurtin by the time we got to the car.wella, i'ma make this one short and sweet cuz i really have to stick to them books. bio 160 is KILLIN me...right jay? but i'll post some pics later...
