| Out of CharacterDearest xxx_Hogwarts roleplayers who are stll here, I, Lira, will now be saying goodbye. Susan's story is done. Same with Cormac's. This rolepaly is dying, and there's nothing I can do about it, no matter how hard I/older members tried. I have never given up on roleplays, but this one is the one I will be forcing myself to leave. The following people I would like to thank are: Eric (James Keyra)- thank you SO much for plotting with me and sticking with my insane plot changes! I'll try to stay in touch through Diana! Diana (Diana Hull) - You are AMAZING!! Thank you so much for plotting with me! I'll be talking with you lots on Facebook, and we'll meet again somewhere! Thank you so much, and I love you! I hope all the medical problems clear up as well! Traci (Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Sabrina Summers)- She introduced me to this roleplay back in the summer when we first began talking. So much for showing me this place, because if it wasn't for this place, I wouldn't be the writer I am today! I will be talking to you lots more in the future, and I love you! Sam (Crystal Lupin)- Thank you SO much for welcoming me to this roleplay when I first joined! I honestly love your writing style (it's original and unique!), and I love how you developed it so much! I hope to see you somewhere soon in the roleplaying world, and thanks for being such a great fellow roleplayer! J & R (Katie Bell, Ryan Stoll, original George Weasley)- Thank you SO much for being with me this entire way! I apologize for backing out on you during October, but as you may have heard through diana & traci, my computer refused to let Xanga open. Your writing style is amazing, I must admit, and I was blown away by your writing. Keep up the great work, and thanks for standing by me! Steph (Hermione Granger) - I know you were away a lot, but you were a true roleplayer at heart when we hit the midlife crisis in August. You are amazing, and remember that! name unknown (Payton Kline) - Thank you SO much for sticking with me through the summer! I know you went away, and my characters had to go away, but I had so much fun! Thanks so much once more! You're a fantastic roleplayer, and you should keep roleplaying! name unknown (Emma Dobbs) - You are only one word: SUPERAMAZINGERTHANMYSELF!! You are SUCH an amazing writer, and if you get something published, like a NYT Bestseller, will you give me a copy with your autograph? You are amazing, and I hope to see you somewhere soon! name unknown (Draco Malfoy) - You are an amazing writer, I must say!! Thank you so much for being such a great roleplayer, and I hope to see you on other roleplays in the future sometime soon! KEep up the wonderful writing, and you'll find yourself with a publishing company deal in a few weeks! Thanks to everyone else I didn't get to meet, and I hope to see you soon on another roleplaying site! Goodbye! Sincerely, Lira | | |
| "Mommy!" a small girl's voice wavered in and out of her ears, and Susan blinked a few times to feel small hands tuggging at her arm. She rubbed her eyes and sat up helplessly, leaning against the pillows. She opened her eyes widely to see a small replica of her, her wild auburn hair swatting into her face as the girl jumped up and down. "What is it, Gemma?" she asked tiredly, sitting up. She had a dream last night, of something later. She was there though...a boy named Cormac had come along... "Come on! Papa told me to wake you up!" the little girl said excitedly, trying to tug Susan out of bed. Susan pushed the thick blankets and quilts away and got out of bed. She pulled on a bodice and a wide skirt, brushing her hair carefully but letting it down. She placed the kerchief over her head, the gold one trimmed with white lace, saying that she was married and borne at least one child. She placed a small silver locket around her neck and followed her bright daughter down the stairs. She saw him, looking puzzled over a mess of papers. "What's the matter?" she asked gently, placing a hand on his shoulder. He turned, blinking a few times. "Suzanna, is that really you?" he asked, and she looked quizzically at him. "What are you talking about?" she asked curiously, and he shook his head. "Never mind," he smiled at her, standing up and placing a hand on the small of her back. She leaned against his shoulder as the small girl looked up at them. "Gemma...come on," her father said, swinging on a cloak around both their shoulders. He kissed his daughter on the cheek, and kissed Susan on the lips for what seemed like forever. "Daddy! You said we can see Auntie!" Gemma protested, and they pulled away from each other. "All right, then," he grinned, taking Susan's hand and leading her out into the bright sunlight. "Let's go," he smiled, grasping his daughter's hand and placing an arm around Susan's waist. She was home, to stay. | | |
| ((2nd...may 3rd...to last Susan Bones entry! Cormac's will be updated soon! Enjoy!)) She sat down and clutched her forehead. She didn't know what to do. "If this helps you," he said, pulling out a couple photographs. There she was, looking about the same. The freckle on her cheek was the same. Her skin color was the same, and so was her hair color. It was as if it was a movie. Her picture jerked back and forth. One moment, she was standing, a small girl in rags...then suddenly a grown woman, shining in the sun. Her laughs rang in her ear, and when she closed her eyes, she felt as if she could feel him there, holding the baby for her. She looked up at him, and he knew instantly what he wanted. "I love you," he whispered, standing up and opening the window. "No!" she cried, realizing what he had decided, and he quickly turned. "Susan...you have all the time in the world to grow up...to marry someone you truly love...have a life..." "But...this isn't my life," she said exasperatedly, and he nodded understandingly. She sighed, realizing what she wanted. She wanted to stay with Cormac, Diana, James...and all the others. But not in this world. She needed them to grow up on their own, not with her, someone older than them, by their side. "I'll need to explain...but it will be okay," she sighed, walking over to her desk and beginning to write. He placed a soothing hand on her shoulder as she wrote a special, quick message on each of them. Dearest James, I'm sorry for what I've done...what's going on right now. But just know I'm safe, and maybe we'll meet one day. I can't explain what happened...it will make things only worse. I'm going to be happy in my new world, and don't fret. Take lots of care to Diana and Cormac. I'm sorry. Your best friend, Susan. ~*~ Dearest Diana, I can't explain what is rushing through my head right now. I only have a few seconds to write this. Diana, I'm going to a new world...that's where I belong, not here. I will be safe and happy. Don't worry so. Thank you for being my best friend. Please watch out for James and Cormac. I'm sorry for all the trouble I have caused. Love, Susan *~* Dearest Cormac, I know everything is confusing. Your feelings. But it will pass. Time heals everything. Remember when we were little, we'd used to run through the tall grass? How we'd splash on the beach? How we'd try to catch squirrels in the tree? Those memories will stay with me forever. Cormac, I need to go back to base one. I need to find who I really am and live that way. Cormac, you have always been my best friend. Yes, I love you. But love sometimes needs to be broken to find who we really are. I know we'll see each other soon, and I love you very much. Just know I'll be waiting for you on the other side, safe and sound and happy. I'm so sorry for all the trouble I've caused. Love from your best friend, Susan *~* She sealed the last letter and handed them to an astounded first year. "Make sure these are delivered to them, okay?" she asked kindly, and the first-year ran for his life. She looked out the window one last time, trying to memorize everything. "Are you ready?" he whispered, taking her hand firmly. "Yes," she sighed, knowing it was time to leave this world behind. He squeezed her hand gently, and she felt as if she was melting away. But when she looked at the ground, she was there no longer. She was lifting across the trees...across the rocks...across the endless sea into the dark, cloudy, stormy skies.... And when she opened her eyes, she felt his arm squeezing her shoulder. When she looked up, he kissed her gently on the lips, and every little memory dissolved that hurt her in her false life. She was finally home. | | |
| ((continued off the last entry)) They wandered through the countryside where they had been dumped on. Her hair blew in the wind freely for the first time in days. But somehow, she felt much older. Much more responsible. She clutched his hand as they wandered towards the Hogwarts gates. "We can Apparate from here," he nodded somberly, and she agreed. He raised up his wand, and with a flash, they were sitting in her dormitory. She sat down on the bed and motioned for him to sit next to her, but he shook his head. "Susan...I have to go back. I have to go back to Durmstrang..." "Please, don't go," she pleaded. "Please, don't go..." "Susan, you don't belong in that time...in that place..." "Then what will you do without me?" she demanded. "Susan...listen...you were there way back then. In fact, you are your best friend Cormac McLaggen's great great grandmother." She stared at him, her mouth wide open in horror. "So..so...that doesn't make any sense!" "Susan, listen. Way back when I lived, your name was Suzanna Bones. You were a castoff child. Your parents could only have one child, and you turned out to be a girl when they wanted you to be a boy. They cast you onto the streets of Rumania, and you wandered there. I met you when I was a young teenager, and we became the best of friends. Then we both fell in love when it was time to marry, and my mom hadn't decided for me to marry anyone yet. So we got married, and we had a girl named Gemma. But you vanished a few months after Gemma was born, and you were sent here. You were renamed Susan Bones, and you lived in this time and this place. You forgot about your past life completely. "I couldn't live with it. I had to give Gemma away to a family of McLaggens, the ones that would have Cormac later. I went to work to find how you vanished, why you weren't there anymore. I hired that woman, who I called my sister...she was never my sister. She was a witch who decided to help me, as long as I paid her money. "When I finally found it out, I decided to vanish as well along with this witch. I posed as the boy on the island...she as the old woman. When you left that day, she realized that you were the old Suzanna. She told me, and I told her thank you and that I'd explain it to you by myself. But instead, the witch took it in her own hands and cursed both of us. Matter of fact, all five of us: you, me, Cormac, Diana, and James "She's the one who sent us back in time, hoping you'll come back and I'll pay her. But I never did, and she made your life only more miserable and painful. It's all my fault, Susan...it really is." Susan sat still through all of this, watching him intently. That's why she couldn't remember any memories with her parents before six years old. That's when she asked her parents where she came from, they wouldn't respond. That's why she had sudden flashbacks, sudden dreams, of her being a grownup, holding a baby, a man by her side. "Susan...I give you a chance now...do you want to go back in time? Or do you want to stay here and live on?" he asked her, and she looked at the floor, torn in half. "I..I..I don't know..." she said quietly, and he nodded, sitting besides her. She leaned her head against his shoulder, and he wrapped his arms around her. "Take as long as you want," he said, kissing her forehead. | | |
| (Okay, I know HOOW much you guys are SPAZZING out to finish Susan's little adventure, but honestly, I will not be able to write this story until December 1st. I have 10k more to write, and honestly, I'd rather run that than write my terrible novel. So please wait! And I'll be back soon!)) | | |
