Korea Town- Malaysia

As you all know, the number of Koreans are increasing in Malaysia.
From my assumption, Korea town did not exist 3 years ago. Anyway it is located in the heart of the city in a place called Ampang. Thats where all the Koreans flock together to live.

I managed to visit that place this time all thanks to Darren, who drove us there.

Shop signs come in 3 languages: Malay, English and Korean. ahah

Yummy side dishes.. they tasted better than the ones served in NZ

Arriving at Siem Reap international Airport

little bit of cam whoring with my sis at the hotel before we started exploring.

Seriously, there were so many korean shops in Cambodia..

T & Vendda, our Tuk Tuk Drivers.. thats how we travelled around :) in the vehicle called a Tuk Tuk
Vendda, is learning a bit of korean too, it was fun practicing my korean on him!

On the way to Tonlesap Lake, one of the biggest lake in Asia. This is a Floating korean restaurant. I was laughing so much when i saw this. Sooriya... hahaha

Crocodile farm in the middle of the lake...there was also a boy with his pet snake who came and allowed us to 'play' with his snake.

Each temple had steep flights of steps. We visited about 12 temples in two days. It was a lot of climbing and walking.

I had sun burn at the end of the day.. forgot my sunblock,because i underestimated the weather...

Stuffs i bought in Cambodia. Can you believe it? haha i can't even find these cigs in Malaysia.. Esse Cigs USD $8.20 and Shin ramyun USD $0.50 I should've gotten more cigs. Dirt Cheap.

Finally at the end of the trip, the Cheong Siblings decided to treat ourselves to something luxurious.. at the DFS gallery..haha
The total of these three items costed more than our hotel stay of 4 nights in a 4 star hotel.. ouch... ouch.. ouch...

love is.. when someone does something really bad to you, and you can't hate that person...but instead forgive him.
Love is, when after you have forgiven, and after giving a second chance, to get rejected, but yet, be patient and wait..
love is.. when someone brings you happiness, and one day decides not to contact you anymore..but yet, you don't show your temper.. neither do you ask why.. but just keep missing him... silently..

1. I've got 3 major zits on my face - too much coffee, lack sleep

2. I had my AIS project handback yesterday! And i'm happy with the results

3. I have my exam next Thursday

4. I'll be quitting my job next Friday

5. I'll be going back to Malaysia Next Saturday

6. I made it with my company's big project . Single handedly

7. I really wanna be an exchange student in Korea University.

8. I miss you..

I miss the piano...

I realised, i have more koreans songs than English songs in my comp.. and only 2 malay songs..

After a good time at church :) i didn't get to spend much time with my other half of friends, but joined the older bunch of people for lunch at KK..Malaysia Cuisine. It wasn't any big deal.. Price was.. bit expensive, and food was...normal.. -_-

Anyway, the exciting part came at night, when i went out with another bunch of friends for Sichuan's hot pot at New market! Aaron, Fang, Nico and i.
Its a $22 per pax eat all you can. The food was really good..so great but after the third round, my lips were red from the spicy soup and i had to start with the normal soup.. ahah

So at the restaurant... Aaron brought to our table what seems like a plate of Fried chicken..However..it did have a weird shape,no where near like a chicken's..and the amount of bones that poked out of the meat..hmm definitely not chicken..guess what .. RABBIT's meat!! ahahaha

On the way home, came across an interesting billboard that is stirring the rage of Chinese..you can tell why.

Alright..its 7am. woke up at 6am.. my stomach aches so bad from the spicy soup...i think i went to the toilet like 3 times now. shit. gotta go back to bed..owww...

Everyone starts off somewhere...and eventually ends somewhere else.

What we make of ourselves, is entirely up to us. God just sees us through it.

Life holds so many surprises for us. The people you hold on to will eventually leave you..The people you trust, will someday dissapoint you.. the people you admire, will someday let you down.

But we as humans, always need love.

And hence, we repeat the cycle of hurt over and over again.

So many things are going on.. disasters..

China's earthquake in Sichuan.. the Tornado in Myanmar... Elections in Zimbabwe.. Out with Mugabe!!

I just heard from my flatmate, another piece of ice berg has broken off now.. Global warming is indeed getting worst by the day. Oil prices rocketing skyhigh...

What's frustrating is that, there is just so much going on around the world. But do you read ANY of it in the NZ Herald???yeah, maybe just one report and then done. Back to kiwi sports. Well, as far as im concern, NZ has the crappiest new reports.. Even watching the news in the evenings.. they talk about sports..like yea.. how important is Kiwi SPORTS or kiwi atheletes...ppffftttt...

This country is too concealed from the world.. It's economy is a stand alone economy with no effects in regards to the US. Im not much of an economist neither do i have any background in the finance sector, but i'm pretty sure the free trade deal the govt signed is not gonna do much to help this country, she's merely hopping on the bandwagon and trying to follow the trends. What about the inflation rates that are soaring like crazy? The min wage policy i reckon is another factor for inflation. What about some control? Tax cuts.. will it really help?? I dont reckon anything Helen is doing makes sense..John key.. another doubtful saviour, other important things you should be talking about while running for election is about the country's economy..not about how you're gonna stop child abuse!! Leave those to the care and welfare commisions will ya...

Kiwis.. or the Pakehas.. they have been really arrogant. The recent closing down of two of Fisher n Paykel plants to move them to other countries such as Thailand where production cost is cheaper has caused a stirred of emotions. Pakehas were upset and said they would not buy F&P brand products anymore..because it does not protray the made in NZ brand name. But dont they realise why F&P made that move? The NZ dollar is too high, it's affecting exporters. Why buy from NZ when you can get the same products cheaper from another country? See how shallow minded kiwis are...

Another good example is my work place.. I really wonder how my boss can run two companies..The good times were good.. they made the business profit.. but she is not long sighted.. She does not think about the future. Where are the company's reserve funds? Does she not see that the economy is getting bad now.. her expenses are still high, she does seem to be a bit ignorant and base her spending on the company's gross profits. sigh.. i really want to tell her, its not the time to give her staffs pay rise, its not the time to employ more ppl, its not the time now to spend on renovating the office.. what about budgetting?? There is no control what so ever..gggaaaaaaaahhhhhhh and when she sees the business going slow she says "Nicole, time to do marketing" What the hell....i hate marketing

I've just handed in my project and walking to work now.. the pathways, are lined with Golden leaves..

I got my coffee refund. Woohoo!
