| Off to Suomi!In an unanticipated twist of fate, i'm off to Suomi on Thursday! Woohoo!
Can't wait to see Veera again!
I'll be there until the 16th, which isnt exactly very long, but not that short either.
The next 3 days of waiting is already beginning to feel like eternity...

| Time flies...Not blogged for ages. Wonder who else is still reading it? I can literally pry the cobwebs away from my blog haha.
Well as the title suggests, i'm experiencing a sudden compression of time. January passed by in a flash. My trip to Finland zoomed by, i bought a new car (coming after cny!) , and guess what, i got into my first car accident haha. Don't ask me what happened; suffice to know i'm bloody pissed off. To sum it up, the phrase rhymes with clucking bell.
The 2 weeks in Finland was just brilliant. I had a great
time there, and the initial worry that things might have changed after being apart for 9 frigging months
disappeared within 1sec of seeing Veera again :) Her parents and relatives were all expecting us to announce our engagement, but i guess they have to wait just for a little while more
Its gona be another 5 months before i can see Veera again, and that sucks. You would think that it gets easier with time; afterall doesn't practice make perfect? Unfortunately for me, the pain gets worse every single time. Leaving Helsinki this time around was just torturous. I'm looking forward to the day Veera gets to come to Singapore and work here so we can be together. A long distance relationship is just painful.
So in the meantime, its back to boring days in Singapore. Working on weekdays, and rotting away weekends wondering what to do, where to go. Boring.

| Back in sing-gah-porNope i'm not dead yet! Got back to Singapore last Wednesday after an incredible 3 months in Australia. It was such an amazing experience. And what better way than to end it by going scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef, followed by the U2 concert in Brisbane? Ahhhh life WAS good.
Work sucks. Next thing to look forward to ----> Suomi in late December! Veera here i come!

| Bondi to Coogee!Went to Sydney today to do the coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach. The views were absolutely phenomenal. The weather was fantastic and there were throngs of people at the beaches, suntanning, surfing, swimming, snorkelling, etc etc, pretty much whatever u can think of doing at a beach, theres someone doing it! The walk took me a good 2 hrs cos its about 6km long, and i was pooped at the end of it haha. It was definitely worth it though cos the views were really breathtaking. No shit einstein i actually felt my jaw drop when i first saw how beautiful the coastline is.
And the best thing? I'M GOING TO THE BEACH TOMR WITH MY MATES! YAHOOOOOOOOO! I just pray for the weather to be as good as today and it will be PERFECT! | | |
