| Lets go and make history togetherThe presidential election is this Tuesday if you didn't know. This is history in the making, either we'll have the first African American President or the first female Vice President. But more or less if you don't care about who the next President or Vice President is, you should care about the propositions that are going to be passed in your state. So go out and vote. No on Proposition 8 |

| I decided to do the impossible...well not really impossible. So I just recently signed up for the Nike Human10k run. I don't know what I got myself into? Maybe it's just my personal drive to strive to do something better and something more challenging as each day passes. Or maybe it's for the free Kanye West concert after the run. You take your pick.
A few months ago, I signed up for the Revlon 5k run. I woke up after getting 3 hours of sleep from a night of drunken debauchery. While hung over and lack of sleep I completed the 5k run under 25 minutes. Not that i'm trying to brag or anything, but I think I did pretty good considering the daunting task laid out in front of me. Next year I plan to run the LA Marathon, but we all know that I will be walking more than half of it. But hey at least I can say I actually ran/walked a marathon before.
Crap, as I would love to finish this entry, my favorite televesion show House is on.

| Public transportation..Right when the subway arrives, you see a huge mass of people pushing and fighting to grab the first seat they see on the subway. In my head, I feel a bit sad for those poor unsuspecting people who have to sit next to random strangers who either smell like (crap, alcohol, ciggs) or people who are a tad bit psycho. I'm really glad that I don't have to deal with all of the above just by standing. But the only issue i have is with people who get in my personal space. I don't like it when they are within breathing distance of me, that is just too close for comfort. I also hate the fact when people put on too much cologne or perfume. Please people think about the other people who have to smell that when you are around. Ugh, I hate public transportation, but yet I love it so much. Do you have any horror stories you would like to share? For me I was taking the train home after a long day of work. I was talking to a co worker of mine when suddenly we pulled into the "ghetto" part of town and this african american guy stumbled aboard. He decided to make a seat in between me and this aussie. At first I didn't think much of it since I wasn't really paying any attention to him. But suddenly he grabbed his 2 buck chuck from his pocket and started to drink his "expensive" wine. Thank god he didn't talk to me, but he was harassing the aussie the entire way. Everyone on board thought he was going to start a fight with another passenger on board but luckily nothing happened. I know this isn't that bad, but seriously I don't like dealing with this especially after work. Now tell me your horror stories! |
