Passion?

I have heard it said so many times, "Once they graduate from Master's and get into the "real world"....negative, negative...".

Why do we have to be so critical and pessimistic?  Words and attitude can be so powerful, my prayer for this years graduating class of Master's Commission is that they may keep their spiritual fervor.  In Romans 12:11-13 it says "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

Life and this world has enough negativity toward hopes and dreams and no way in this world, will we ever be exempt from dissappointment.  But what we are to realize is that in life we can do everything through Christ.  EVERYTHING means all, easy and tough.  Keep your spiritual fervor and passion, be consistant, whether you graduated last year or 10 years ago.  I would rather be accused of being too passionate than dead!  Encourage everyone you come in contact with, it's worth it.

Life has been full speed.  We are still loving Hamilton, OH and learning a ton from being here.

Date's are invaluble and times with our family are priceless.

We are driving to Alabama for Thanksgiving and I am excited to see as many people as possible!

Here is my new beautiful angel!  Sorry it has taken me so long to show her off.  We are so busy!  I delivered, or the doctor delivered, her at 12:56 pm on August 1st.  I was induced 10 hours earlier and the little rascal turned and was breech.  So I had an emergency C-section.  She weighed 7lbs. 9oz and was 20 inches.

Just a quick update, we are off to a very fast start.  We love our new church and area.  Hamilton, OH is awesome!  We are close enough to drive thru 3 states in less than 1 hour.  Pretty cool.  Cincinnati is a great city, with the best Ice Cream in the world; Graeter's Ice Cream!!!YUMMY!!! (Sorry Brusters fans)  Chili joints are everywhere.  Some crazy person decided you could make a fast food restaurant with the main ingredient as chili.  Skyline and Gold Star are the 2 most popular.  It's pretty tasty but you can't think chili when you're eating it.  I think they put chocolate in it, so it's pretty sweet.  Bar B Que as we know it, is non existant up here.  Most places cook it in the oven here.  Nothing like Dream Land.  I have discovered a store that could take the place of Wal-Mart in my heart.  I said could, so don't panic.  It's not 100% yet, but close.  Meijer is the name of my new love.  They have prices like Wal-Mart, but also run sales everyday like Winn-Dixie used to.

Now to the spiritual stuff in our life....We are more happy than ever.  We love our pastor and church.  We have so many opportunities in this community and God has given us favor to reach this area.  We do not take for granted the ground work that was layed before us.  So many great people have opened doors, that WE are now able to walk thru.  Neither one of us feel worthy to be able to have this experience.  But we are so grateful.  So please continue to pray for us in favor and for our students next year.  We came at the very last week of MC last year, so we have not done as well as we should for new 1st year students.  We know this program is going to be awesome and we are confident that God has a purpose for us here.  So we want Master's Commission of Greater Cincinnati to stay strong next year and only get better.
