i should have posted this a couple weeks back
what is the first day of the week anyway
which one is the last day anyway
don't tell me the standard saturday, sunday or monday answer
the whole sabbath thing, a lot of people base it on the the last day of the week thing
but, didn't we just randomly assign what numbers mean?
the Bible doesn't even say what day is the seventh day
it just said, He chillaxed after 6 days of hard work
in a way, i'm mainly thinking about some religion/denomination of religion here
i'm actually curious as if people under those groups
when they're preaching on that everyone else's sabbath day
is that considered as working, since it is working
but then, i guess it's just leading the whole congregation in the worship of God
does that make sense?

the seventh day, after He has done everything, the Bible doesn't seem to have mention the night part
when does the seventh night actually start anyway
now, assuming it started after the fall of Adam and Eve, did they sleep at all?
(now i'm just going in really wild questions)
or maybe it's kinda like summer in the arctic, hehe
no night whatsoever, and then they got translocated

i just know, i need to get a sabbath day of my own

i still miss the old VHHH
gawd, i love the landing smack in the middle of the city
and yes, for those that follows both pages
i can't make up my mind on where to go

finally started reading a book friend lent me on worship and how to get to people
actually need to get out of the house in order to start reading that book
one part that still that i read, and hangs in my mind
is that it's kinda a known fact that worship isn't meant to have a fixed style
but everyone seems to want it in a certain format
old style, new age, an hour long, time zone free
people are just focused on the event, and not the real thing anymore
maybe it is time, to just go back to basic
everyone kneeling (yeah, i know it hurts, i've done it before, so have a few others in my fellowship)
and just listen quietly
without any distraction
i mean, i gotta drive all the way out to UBC to read a book
granted, there was a reason why i was out at UBC already, but that's beside the point
must mean that TV is making my brain smaller
another point that the book take from other sources
saying that we need to water down everything now
including teaching the Gospel
just so people can handle everything
wonder how much smaller our brains are now
making us to can't comprehend anything anymore
not able to absorb the things the Bible are teaching us
or at least not able to remember things from 2 minutes ago anyway

two questions that i get asked by ppl I know in HK
1) where do i like better
2) when am i going back for a visit
3) would i go back to HK to work
ok, fine, it's 3 questions
sometimes, i wonder if they actually expect me to know the answer to the second q cause anything can be changed at anytime
q 3 is easiest
q 1, you'd expect it to be easy to answer, right? nope

and then, here's one q i'd like to pose to those that actually are still reading this thing
for Canadians, do you know your SIN and driver's license by heart
for Americans, do you know your SSN and driver's license by heart
for HK people, do you know your HKID number by heart
ermm, i know there are other nationalities reading this, but i don't know what is the equivalent.
why do i ask
cause my soon to be ex manager said that everyone should know that by heart
so i'm now asking you, do you actually know it too
i know there are some of you that would have more than one numbers because you go between places, just pick one, and answer

watching SClub7's S Club Party
and it reminds me that they jump up and do the whole S logo thing
and i'm wondering
did the whole jumping picture thing started then, or later, or earlier
mmmm

temptation against obedience
i know i have none of the latter, haha
been tempted to be a lazy ass all the time
ok, maybe not tempted, just been getting lazier all the time
but yeah, we're taught to obey things
obey the laws, obey your parents, it even goes as far back as God telling Adam and Eve to listen to him and not eat that fruit thingy
and then there's our standard sinful nature
to go against all that is good and do our own shiat
think about it
people now would go drink til they need a liver/kidney replacement young
think the older generation is the idiot bunch
we would just go in our own little world
and then maybe crawl back if in that much crap
but even then, i doubt some ppl would go back, thinking they're right, and just keep going
kinda goes back to the whole pride thing
i'm so smart. S M R T
it's those ppl that i wouldn't midnd just seeing their organs go into complete meltdown cause they're being stupid anyway
having fun, fine
slowly killing yourself, i wouldn't mind to assist in quickening up the process
and then there's when we listen and obey, we wouldn't doubt and grumble and just twist our brain into a mush just because we'd be trying to say i'm not gonna listen or second guess things and then grumble more cause we just don't know what's going on and question any and every damn thing possible

so what really is the point tonight?
obey stuff and die happier, unless you are that unlucky and get cancer or get kill by some jerkface that isn't obeying stuff
or be an idiot

one thing that will never change here is the random thoughts
only the topics will be different
time to start a new series, the 400's

somehow, i think i'm thinking of this in a really really really weird way
people are always trying to build each other up, more self-confidence
but would that increase one's pride, making oneself think "i'm so great"
but at the same time, the Bible tells us that it's good to be humble
that those that are humble will be blessed and that being prideful isn't good
where is that line anyway, mmm
we all know being over pride (i know it's not a real term, just stick with me) is not a good thing
but then, people are always heading into that direction
you'd think a nation like USA that claims to be a Christian based country would at least know that
and then there's Mr Bush, not willing to get out of Middle East just cause he hasn't found Mr Laden
is it pride, or is it just face
wait, or are those two the same thing anyway?
this world is weird
somehow, we are taught to be better than everyone, but i don't really remember anyone ever saying to think of other people first, other than Helen Lovejoy, or is that just the writers making fun of the religion. mmm
on that same note, has anyone ever heard of others claim they're humble?
i know i'm neither for now
i'm just confused by life
