3rd Day on the job at Seattle Union Gospel Mission

in lieu of my love of lists, i will write down at least one thing, or more, each post about working at my new job.

#1:  Free meals.  Usually sandwiches everyday made from donated food from grocery stores and Odwalla Juice drinks that are past date=)

#2:  Driving the UGM van and being able to chalk up driving time as time on the job, just like my bro when he worked for UW library system, haha!

#3:  Transcribing my first ever document from a dictation device.  I had to slow the tape down to the lowest speed, made the director sound like Kevin McAllistor's Dad's voice from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York when he usess that Talkboy. 

Part of the machine is this step thing at your feet that allows you to rewind, start/stop as you feel, kinda like a sewing machine=)

praise God for He is Good and knows what we need, not necessarily what we want!
