nadal vs. federer again...boy oh boy...

i barely remember, but the late 80s had boris becker and ivan lendl, most of the 90s had agassi and sampras...

and now a new rivalry has been born between the sensational spaniard and the seemingly impeccable swiss guy.  Don't miss the action on Sunday.

now if only I myself could have time to see it....

Oh, and go Henin-Hardenne

A sad day for not just Americans at Wimbledon but for fans all over the world as we honor the departure of one of the most fun, iconic tennis players the Briton grass courts have seen.....

It was a valiant effort from the 36-year old....

But 20-year old Rafael Nadal from Spain had the upper hand in speed, size and strength....(to put things in perspective, Nadal was 1 month old when Agassi turned pro in 1987)......yes I like to collect useless data like this for myself.

A gentleman's farewell.

Once again, memories from 1992 where the legend started.....fate shared a sense of irony that Steffi Graf (future wife) also won the Grand Slam that year at Wimbledon...what a special year that was....

heart of champions

what a great game 7.  Truly this was the best basketball series i've prob ever witnessed.  For it to go 7 games and to be a victory for the mavericks simply makes it sweeter.  Mark Cuban is annoying and childish, but nothing short of genius.  AJ grits his teeth hard enough to grind concrete, and consequently his being has made the mavs tougher.  The JET was back for redemption, and he lived up to it well.  The enemy came harder and stronger than ever, with Timmy, Tony and Manu combining for 88 points; not to mention we almost got axed again by an ex-mav when Finley hit that big 3.  Was this drama crazy or what???  But in the end, we had a big German step up and help Big D prevail......he once said "to become a champion you must beat the champion".   My dearest uberman, you are now halfway there....up next: bring on the NASHTY!

go mavs!
