| Midnight Haircutsi find myself most vulnerable late at night...or maybe impulsive is the better word. i've needed a haircut for a while so after watching a movie and seeing the main character's pretty hair for 2 hours, lauren and i decided it would be fun to cut my hair. she cut some off but it didn't look like much. so i said, how about you cut some more! i asked for it. 5 inches later... i don't have long hair anymore. it's not short, but it's not long either. lauren cried because she thinks she did too much, and she's been panicking all day. haha. first of all it cracks me up that lauren is so upset about it and i say i needed the change. and its just hair.

| i feel so good about it being summer. i don't think i've ever been this excited before. I JUST FEEL SO GOOD. i'm getting out all of my growing up pictures for my party tonight. my party which all friends, old and new, everyday friends and once a few months friends, may attend. pictures kind of freak me out sometimes...like i was there at a point in time and it froze me. i don't even remember doing all those things. its weird seeing me being a little girl and then a not-cute middle schooler and then the last couple years. life is weird.
well help me embrace summer by coming over in the next week and jumping in our 4 ft. above ground pool. its not up yet, but it will be! and it will be a blast. | | |
| got some cool new grooves thanks to BMac. you know what i realized? ever since i got my ipod i've become so hard to satisfy listening wise. since everything's all right there, i know there's something that will fit my mood best- but then i can't tell what my mood is exactly? and i just go from thing to thing knowing there's something better i could be listening to! (is this just me?) its just harder than ever to satisfy my music hunger and its FRUSTRATING.
in other news, i finally found my prom dress. at a thrift store. for $10. HOW COOL IS THAT! its very different looking...i think its pretty neat. AND...i found some cowboy boots! when i saw these boots i just knew they would fit me- it was almost as fateful as the mocassains in wyoming- i felt like i could fly through the roof with such a find! well, the 2 finds. a prom dress and boots. it was definitely my day. i've been wanting a pair of boots for years.

| yes. my dad brings home a DONKEY. i was like, dad?? it was wandering around down the street so he thought we could keep it here until we found who it belongs to. and now i am PRAYING that we don't find the owners because i have fallen head over heels for him. he is the sweetest thing in the world. and it's the kind of donkey with the cross on its back, so booyah to whoever didn't believe me- i had this conversation with someone a couple weeks ago about the ones that have the cross on their back and they didn't believe me- i don't remember who it was though. one of you. anyways. i'll probably go out there in a little bit and if anyone wants to come over before school, you can see him. and we can make lunch.

| so do you button-zip or zip-button? because apparently i'm the ONLY one who zip-buttons. and then i tried out the button-zip and it just doesn't make sense in that order. all of you are backwards.
think of how good we could be at everything if we didn't waste so much time on the computer. or watching tv. or playing halo. (guys.) wait, are guys still playing halo or did that phase pass already? well i'm learning how to play guitar and i'm going to go learn how to be better at it.
but first i'm hungry. think of how terrible eating would be if we didn't have tastebuds. do you ever think of that? oh it'd be awful. well God we praise you for tastebuds. alright, i'm going to go take my guitar on a picnic then. SEE YAH! | | |
