| Life's Uncertainties...
All of us have heard this before, “fear of the uncertainties,” right? Well, what do you think about it? I presume that each and every one of us, at some point in time, dwell into the thoughts and feelings of uncertainties and allowing it to get the best of us, right? Hmm, must it have to be that way? I have lived for the most part, near the end of my quarter-life stages and I have come to terms that there is nothing to be fearful about the abstraction of uncertainties. All we have to do is change our perspective and attitude of it. In redefining the problem, the solution will come to us, effortlessly. Does it make sense? Allow me to paraphrase that, if we choose to see, “uncertainties” as the best have yet to come, an opportunity, a maximum potential that is awaiting for us to take initiative of, then would we still be afraid of the unknown? It is in the natural law of nature, that each of us reaches our highest understanding and shine toward the light, like a flower blossom itself growing into its most beautiful state of being. So are humans. But the real answer derives from within. As ironic as this may sound, but if we are willing to allow the unknown of life to take its course, then everything else will work itself out. It is through what is internal that reflects the external. Just flip it inside out and we will see the drastic difference it could impact our own life, in the most natural ways possible. There's a saying that, it is through obstacles that we discover our true inner strength. So embrace uncertainties, welcome it, dance with it, be in tune with it, for it will only help us develop and realize our own true worthly value that has been hidden away for so long. Like the, “Laws of Attraction,” if we choose the brighter side of a dilemma, then the lesson in its seeds will reveal itself for the gaining of a greater wisdom.

| Happy Father's Day...
There's a Vietnamese saying: "A child with no father is like a house with no roof...

| Mother's Day...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was a very popular Vietnamese proverb well-known, in almost every Vietnamese family. A bit of history about it:
“This proverb, epitomizing the gist of Confucian morals, was probably diffused during the sinicization period, which roughly corresponds to the beginning of the Christian era up to the fifteenth century, perhaps a little later. Here one is not so much faced with a problem of dating as of meaning. The third line tells us that Mother is “to be revered and Father respected.” From the University of California, Irvine:
"Cong cha nhu nui Thai Son Nghia me nhu nuoc trong nguon chay ra Mot long tho me kinh cha Cho tron chu hieu moi la dao con"
English Translation:
“The good deeds of Father are as great as Mount Thai Son The virtue of Mother is as bountiful as springwater gushing from its source Wholeheartedly is Mother to be revered and Father respected So that the child’s way may be accomplished.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
| A Portion of Thyself...
We give of ourselves when we give gifts of the heart: love, kindness, joy, understanding, sympathy, tolerance, forgiveness.
We give of ourselves when we give gifts of the mind: ideas, dreams, purposes, ideals, principles, plans, inventions, projects, poetry.
We give of ourselves when we give gifts of the spirit: prayer, vision, beauty, aspiration, peace, faith.
We give of ourselves when we give the gift of words: encouragement, inspiration, guidance.
Emerson said it well: 'Rings and jewels are not gifts, but apologies for gifts. The only true gift is a portion of thyself.'
Wilferd A. Peterson, 1900-1995 American Author and Columnist
The best part of living is to 'give back' what we have received throughout our lives, that can be positively influential to others.
| My Baptism on Easter Day..."Doubt yourself and you doubt everything you see. Judge yourself and you see judges everywhere. But if you listen to the sound of your own voice, you can rise above doubt and judgment. And you can see forever."
Nancy Kerrigan
