Not too hot to be honest. Since I sobered up there is much to deal with. I did laundry though. That was a really good load of laundry. I could tell the clothes were getting really clean this time from the suds.

I'm excited for you. My baptism wasn't nearly as pretty, but I have to assume that its significance was the same.

@ionekoa -

The Service was very crowded, esp. it being Easter. So, what you saw there was only family members left at the baptism ceremony,  so that's why you don't see as many people there. The service was over and then came the baptism ceremony. :)

RYC - I shut my facebook down because I was disappointed about something one of my true acquaintances was involved in. That was over a month ago I think. So I reactivated it. I think it will get more and more honest as more time passes.

Keeping my eye on the ball will get me from now to then.

"This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased."  The words spoken from heaven, from God the Father to Jesus the Son or Righteousness, embrace all of humanity.  Jesus, as our great example, stood in our place at the cross, taking on our sins and paying the penalty we could not pay ourselves.  But His life is our example, and in baptism He stands for all mankind.

I believe that whenever a person with contrite heart and true love for God is baptized to show their faith and committment to God, and their repentence from sin and ungodliness, that the words spoken to Jesus apply to that person as well, for now you are a beloved child of God, in whom God greatly delights.

God bless, and may you ever walk with Jesus in newness of life.

That is awesome.  I may be in Houston this weekend.  I would love to go to church with you if that is cool.

@TheTheologiansCafe -

Ron has no aversion to church. So long as they don't try to make him speak in tongues.

@ronlawhouston - That makes me want to take you to a church and have you speak in tongues now.

What if your own voice tells you to doubt what you see and to not be attached to your sensory perceptions?

To me, to "see forever" means to rise above our narrow and restricted view of the world.
