Wow! It has been a while that I have blogged! I guess we were still underconstruction, meaning reconstructing ourselves and ourleaders as well. I gotta say that brothers and sisters in Edmonton are getting close to each other. After having the mens and the womens forums, we learned to respect each other and learn how to really support each other when ever any of us are in such distress. Amen.

So many events has gone by since I have blogged. I mean, first of all the YFC Edmonton Christmas Gala for fundraising GK777 was such a success! We've raised I believe $3,200 I think.. lol remember, but it was such an event where everyone just loved the presentation and the outcome of the gala. Nextly, the NLS (National Leaders Summit) just the past weekend, twelve leaders from Edmonton/Frt. Mc, who travelled by bus to Winnipeg for the weekend and came back with such empowerment, and having alot of plans for our bros and sis in Edmonton. Lastly, YFC Alberta is getting ready for our first YFC Alberta Discovery Camp in Febuary 27 -29. Yup! With Mr. Efren "Butch"  Bariah in town, lets start the party! PARTAY!!!

So how's it going everyone?! Sorry I didn't get a chance to update lately! But I gotta say Edmonton is going underconstruction to expand its ministry and expand YFC! Parish Base and Highschool Base are under way and soon be establish! If you would like to give a hand for these new ministries, please give either Jacob Ang for Parish Base @ 436 - 3939 or JJ Aquino for Highschool Base @ 455 - 9086 aights! Lets set Edmonton on fire once again!

Oh one more thing! Please note your calendar! On December 20th of 2003, YFC Edmonton are hosting a Christmas Gala to fundraise to build houses for GK777 (Gawad Kalinga). This event will be one crazy, fun night! So YFC Edmonton invites you to come! The place is at St. Theresa's Parish basement. The time starts at 7pm doors are open at 6:30pm. Advance tickets are $15 and $17 at the door on December 20th. So again, YFC Edmonton invites you to come to the Christmas Gala! Hey Brothers and sisters of Edmonton! How are you all?! Well just say that we are wonderful and excited! W00t! Anyhow, there is a Christmas Gala meeting on Nov 1st - details will be anounced as soon as possible! Please be on an alert to recive calls from your leaders! Also there is a scary G.A. the places is T.B.A. so please also be on an alert! Or after all, call JC's cell at 993 - 8420 or Maan's cell at 709 - 8179.

Note: Please go to the Christmas Gala and The G.A. meetings because it shows support towards your community and your fellow brothers and sister of YFC Edmonton! Also there will be ideas and new ideas for meetings, fellowship, and evangelize strategies. Amen? Amen!

I only have a limited time to type this message cause I have work in few min. Anyhow, there's the RLC (Regional Leaders Conference) at Vancouver BC! W00t the fee is I believe it's $84. There's only less than two weeks before this event. So if you are REALY interested of going please give Anthony Obleada a call @ 436 - 1170 or his cell 707 -6518. Or call Tito Nap's Cell at 490 8490.

I encourage all of you YFC community leaders to come out and partake this retreat! When I went last year, man I made sooooooo many friends, learned to become a better leader, and experienced some wonderful sharings this one night we had with couple of brothers and few sisters that joined this ring. So again everyone, I encourage you to come out to Vancouver and join the RLC.
