It has been a 'basketball' weekend.

First station was Royal School to play the 'OLD ROYALS' game, was a memorable one and just glad to see a lot of old friends, especially,

Chim: You are always the man. How many awards did you get in the presentation evening? And just want to say that you deserve all of them. It was fun to talk about someone's face too. I should have stayed overnight and chat with you, but you know the reason why I didn't. Catch you up later in summer, CWB.

Melanie: Didn't know you are the captain of the girl's team Mel, but all I know is that you deserve your award too, the story that Coach Jelosek talked about during the presentation evening shows how great a person you are, and this is what you should always proud of yourself, maybe you don't like the Royal's life much, but when you look back to the memories when you are in Uni., what you and the team have achieved should always be included, so, just enjoy your days left at Royals, and good luck to your revision and exams.

Jaffery: Saw you when you are on the phone with someone, and i wonder who SHE is. I know the story but not in detail, tell me when I see you later in Hong Kong. Take care and good luck to your exams too.

Also good to see Glen, Rouven, Eric, JimmyS, Sammy, Brian, Tam, Natalia, etc... Good luck to all of you. And to my younger sister, although you couldn't make it, but we can always meet when we go back, keep in touch.

Second stop was the basketball tournament which held in Oxford on sunday. We played 2 good games, and although it was the first time for some of us to play together, but we showed great team spirit, and it was totally an enjoyable day with all of the teammates. The Thai. restaurant we went after the tournament was good too, big thanks to you guys for leading the way. Many of you will be leaving next year, all the best to Alan, Alex, Patrick, Damien, Paul, Jacky and Gary. And Danny, thanks for giving me the chance to play with you guys, it will be good if you are coming back next year, and I am sure you will make it. Looking forward to play with Hiram, Siu Lung and Kan too if we got a team next year.

I do not know whether the great John Nash actually said that when he was presented the Noble Prize in 1994, as the film is a bit misleading, but the statement above has been in my mind for quite a while.

Maybe- the amount of time and efforts put in do not repay with the same amount of care and sweetness. Maybe- do not want to affect the harmony. Maybe- haze on future. But as I firmly agree with the statement, I can now ignore those 'Maybes', believe in my rules of game, be an individualist in this field; just because someone is always the only reason.

Big thank to ALVA, LAAI & PREMA for organizing the Holland trip, your efforts are highly appreciated. 4 days in Amsterdam was totally enjoyable. Highlights were Amsterdams Historisch Museum, Amsterdam Arena (Ajax FC Home Stadium) and Coffee Shops.

Of course, I was the main photograher of group photos, as I usual do, although I was persuded (forced?) to take one with you three... Lots of gains from the trip; late night pokers, friendships, 'legal' tries, but most importantly, ....., something I cannot deny with.

Accidentally saw these pictures below while browsing webs.

The game is called ' Amputee Soccer ', a football tournament for amputees. Basically the aim of it is just the same as normal two-legged soccer games; to score goals, but the rules are a bit different, such as,

'Male and Female are permitted on the same team'

'Goalkeeper may have 2 legs, but only 1 hand. Outfielders may have 2 hands, but only 1 leg'

Just how unlucky rhey are, to live under this kind of body difficulties. Can you imagine, if, we are the ones who have been suffered, we are the ones who have been dis-criminated and we are the ones who spend the rest of our life doing things with depressing mood?

These people totally earn my respect. It must be very difficult for them to pick themselves up and live optimistically. Gratefully, they are not sitting back and asking for help, instead, they put their heads up, not afraid of any obstacles and go for their dreams. With well-known footballers like David Beckham earning enormous amount of money inside and outside football pitch, recognizing by people throughout the nation and all over the world, these unfortunate people, are the real role model for me, as they inspire me,and make me to tresure everything that is in the past, everything that is happening and everything that is upcoming.

As i said to some of my friends, lessons are going on everywhere and every minute. It is always better for us to observe and think accordingly than to read a thousand pages of living philosophy; experience different things will always improve our personalities and make us a more complete person.

P.S. If any of you is interested to do some voluntary works during the comimg summer holiday, please let me know, a friend of mine, who has just become an offical social worker (Congraduations Janet!) can always arrange it. If you are interested, and the aim for you to participate is not to improve your C.V., but to be 100% committed and do something for the community, please do not hesitate, it will certainly be a great experience.
