The Dark Knight deserves an entry, yes yes?
Wow.
I haven't been excited about a movie in a while
So it was nice to have that little giddy feeling you get while you watch the previews roll,
wondering when the actual movie is going to begin.
I watched it myself
and for, like, ten minutes i thought i was going to have the whole row of chairs to myself
but some random people came in late
it was awesome. :D
Movie effects aside, because you kind of expect them in a big budget film
I loved watching Heath Ledger's mechanisms, the twitches and the hunched back
I loved the use of silence. They used it so well - when that humongous semi-trailer flipped, silence, wow.
Hans Zimmer is...thumbs up.
I have a soft spot for Gary Oldman, i don't know why, i just do.
Maggie Gyllenhall is better than Katie Holmes but her character's still a bit...damsel-in-distress
Oh! Oh! The twists were really good. I got fooled by the first one - when Joker gave away the address but they were swapped. I should have known it wasn't that simple. Now, i feel kind of dumb for not knowing.
Throughout the movie i kept saying to myself "Oh! Good One!" and then i'd think about how they filmed it
So, I'm kind of sad that i can't enjoy the film just as it is.
And i loved that the movie was still funny even though it was all deep, dark and stuff
And i think they did really well with the family relationships, especially using it to explain motives
I didn't like the Rachel-Bruce-Harold triangle though, they could have done that better
Especially because it almost seemed that Batman wasn't really that affected by it
Overall, really enjoyable movie experience.
Really really enjoyable.
Talking to wynnie and can't multitask so i'll add more when i can remember
Can't wait for the next excitable movie.
