hi xanga again. who knows. i'm only awake because i thought i had to be at work at 10....but secretly it was 2...so now i'm home til 2. HOW FUN. okayokay. soooo summer is fun, i like the sun, i like people from this here city that i never saw during the school year, but i still miss lubbock. and all it entails. went to graduation, can't believe it was a year ago i graduated. HUH?! when did that happen? honestly? a whole stinkin' year?! and a jillion things have changed. not me i feel pretty much the same...yet different. hmm. i'm proud of all you graduated kids! wow. wow. when did all this happen? time passes so quickly, honestly. anyway, so i'm working up til june the 12th i think. then i'm going to san antonio for a few days with the fam to relax, then i come home and GET READY for that whole....being in a different country for 6 weeks thing. i leave at 6:30 am june 26th....will be back at 9 something pm august 5th. so yeah. then less than 2 weeks later i leave for lubbock again. speaking of which i think i'm gonna go to lubbock june 8 or 9 - 11. see that boy, escape a bit. i'll tell you one thing: it is fun being home....but WOW. hard times. it is so hard to adjust being a kid with parents again. i'm not even kidding. i am so grateful for my independence when i am at college, insanely so. i really think i should thank God for it every day this next year and all the years to come after it. i miss it so much; it's so weird to be told what to do, when to come home, blah blah. i'm ready for my life back. i feel like i'm just kinda visiting here. but yet it does feel like home still....i dunno. what the heck is going on with me. anyway, kids who just graduated....enjoy your last summer at home. it's a hard one. you'll get so freakin' ready to go off to school by the end of it...but still ENJOY it so much. and then....have the time of your life in college. bc it's only....terrific. okay i'm rambling?

okay i miss college. i miss living in the same building with all my best friends, i miss football games, i miss random naps, i miss watching tv in bed, i miss going to sam's @ 1 am, i miss putting of studying in any way shape or form, i miss having free music courtesy of mytunes, i miss living with amy & it being like a slumber party or church camp or something (but permanent!), i miss going downstairs & hanging out with the boys & emily, i miss having a boyfriend in the same building, i miss it feeling sooo early at 11:30, singing songs SO LOUD all together in the car, i miss freedom, the drive-in, dancing in the parking lot at 4 am, playing mariokart or watching sweet 16 or something else ridiculous, taking pictures on beautiful campus, and other random things. i dunno. but yeah summer will be fun and hopefully i'll get some good hanging out time with some people. and maybe a tan? anyway, we'll see how long this xanga thing lasts. ~K~

okay. here's what's exciting: my best friend from germany is here! i love irene. also, i hung out with my best friend amy (the american one, remember?) and ummm going to see my zach (whom i haven't seen in 2.5 months) on wednesday. oh yeah, by the way, for anyone who doesn't already know...shannon, charlie, maddie & i are driving to south carolina to surprise zach at his graduation from boot camp for the marines. YEAH! i'm SO EXCITED. but i'm sure anyone who reads this knows that. also: sad: he is moving to SA this sunday. but he's not done with boot camp til friday. welcome to el suck. anyway. but basically i'm happy and having a good time of life right now. it's exciting, and so much change coming up is also exciting. i love you guys and to those of you who started school, i hope you have a GREAT year and enjoy it! it flies...kinda. haha. i'm very excited about august 25, as well...the beginning of something totally new. by the way i'm probably done with xanga, or at least this one. i'll probably make a new one at some point later on, but i'm done with this one. so this is incredibly long. anyway. bye y'all! ~K~
