Italiano: learning to roll my tongue

This weekend, I spend a whole day revising my italian. I have spent a year attending the certificate course on Beginner Italian. Yet, I can hardly speak any. I was not taught much sentence structure, so i am still struggling with the grammar.

What's fascinating about Italian is the R's rolling tongue, which I struggle to learn in vain. There are about some 20 verb forms in Italian, furthur expanding into 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular and plural, and more on gender stuff. Now I know how simple Chinese is!

Come ti chiami? (Literally: How do you call yourself?)(What is your name)

Mi chiamo Sunny! ( I call myself Sunny)( My name is Sunny)

This is Italian, knowing English is a bit helpful and a bit confusing, but I found pronunciation in Italian much more straight forward than English. Maybe i can speak better Italian than English! However, taking about English, I realize how little improvement I have made during my Unverisity. Maybe it's time to put it together now!

June 16, 2007 As father have to work on Sunday, so we celebrated Father's Day on Saturday. We went to Wong Chun Chun Thailand Restaurant, 8/F of The Causeway Bay II, as we got a coupon. We liked green curry the most, much like the curry made by my father. It was delicious but not spicy. (However, I got a sour throat next morning) $380 for four dishes minus a $50 coupon. We then went up to Sogo 9/F and finally managed to buy my father some clothes. The dinner plus the presents cost me a handsome sum of money, so I got to save more now.

5/6 Tuesday @ Causewaybay Italian Tomato, for CCC's and Edmund's birthdays. About $70 for a set dinner, but I just ordered a fried rice with seafood but no cheese cake (about $50). The food is ok but I soon got hungry that night, made some dimsum at home before going to sleep.

Among us, henry, andrew and tommy already got a job. Terence and Edmund would further study. San and CCC would like to be a social worker. What about me? Where is my job?
