| A time for everything
In this here picture, the school kids just finished painting coasters to send to their sponsors. So, if you are a P.I.E.S. sponsor, you can look forward to getting your CHRISTMAS gift ... at Christmas time So,
every now and then, I don't know what comes over me, but I decide that
it's time to focus on communicating with the world outside of this
ranch I live in. What to talk about... well, I was thinking about how there is a time for everything and now that this school year is coming to an end here I know that I will be able to rest a little more and it just encourages me even more to remind myself in those "stressfull" times that I need to chill because it will pass and then there will be a less busy time. Also, a friend reminded me that we can never replace our time with Him, or Him, with working for Him.
Other stuff I wanna share: I got to see Rachel Valdez and Andy this month. That was cool. I got to talk with Gina (my sister-in-law), Karen (my pastor's wife), Sue (my wonderful mama), and Janet Ogden recently. I've got great role models in my life. I found out that another amazing woman I know,Kelly, had surgery and now she is better!! That's def. the best.
And now... Now I get to focus on graduation day for the 6th graders & I am very excited b/c they would all like to continue studying and see it as a possibility! I think it is comparable to someone at home deciding to go to college even though their culture may not place importance on it and noone in their family has ever graduated from a higher education. Many of their parents speak a diff. dialect in the home and cannot read or write. So, we are focusing on helping them to make this a reality. These are the moments I am encouraged. Then I get to help with some kind of a VBS here. Any ideas??? Then there is a conference that the organization I work with, HIA, puts on called "To the Great Commission". Then, if all goes well, I will leave at the beginning of Dec. for Mexico with a fellow missionary (Yazna) who I have had the privilege to serve with for the past two years. Then she is off to Africa. Then I get to see my big. bro & his fam. in Cali (and my mama, too) Then, Dec. 18th - to Ohio! yay! brrr...
I don't know who may read this, but I miss so many of you! So, if you want to write me, that would be fantabulously, wonderfully, splendidly, superbly, stupendously great. -Ciau*

| Anita (C.R.) and I are contemplating cutting hair.
I decided to go for it. This is an ¨after¨ picture. Another ¨after¨ picture with Anita Vasquez.
Claudia & I enjoying a fancy good-bye dinner for the august mission group. We both really loved working with them.
This little animal is so cute you want to touch it, but don´t because it bites. Trust me, I know. I was checking it out when I went to do a ¨home visit¨ of one of the students.
